  1. Ben is still available for adoption to that special home
  2. Jack and his brother Russell came to us because their owner has died. Russell can be slightly aggressive if he is on a lead and meets another dog, but they both have good recall, can be left alone for short periods, travel well in the car and are house trained. Typical of terriers, they can be possessive over bones, and we would NOT rehome them with cats, or other small furries, or with babies and toddlers. We would like to find a home for these two together, and would prefer someone who has experience of this breed. If you can offer Jack & Russell a loving, forever home, please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email [email protected] We rehome all over the UK but will always carry out a home check.
  3. This lovely girl is still with us and looking for that special home
  4. Ben is a 3yr old friendly, lab boy who came to us because his owners couldn’t give him enough time. He is a big boy and can be quite dominant with other dogs but may settle with a quiet bitch as long as she was more his own size. He knows some basic commands, has a fairly good recall (with treats), although he does pull on a lead and would need some more work on this. His favourite activity, typical for a lab, is swimming, and he likes to play fetch, but can be easily distracted. Ben is a little food fixated in the kennels, but with his previous owners he was better mannered, and we feel that with a little more training – and in a home environment he would soon regain his manners. If you can offer Ben a loving, forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email [email protected] We rehome all over the UK but will always carry out a home check
  5. Pixie is a typical Jack Russell and she can be dominant with other dogs. She is good on and off a lead and comes to call. She is a very affectionate and forward little dog who adores people. If you can offer Pixie a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected] We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check. PIXIE HAS NOW GONE TO HER NEW HOME
  6. We are guessing Fritz is a lab x possibly husky type dog as has a thick coat and high carriage tail. He is very very boisterous and only 10 months to a year old. He loves everyone and everything but would be a little too bouncy for very young children although he would certainly suit older children. He wants to play and is in dire need of training though he does know the basics if he calms down long enough to listen. He travels well in the car. If you can offer Fritz a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected] We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check. FRITZ HAS NOW GONE TO HIS NEW HOME
  7. Socks is an affectionate dog who loves a hug and a lap to sit on and is quite happy with strangers, but she needs gentle handling and is nervous if she is approached noisily or quickly, she is very wary of small children, although not nasty at all, just frightened. She is submissive with other dogs. She is good to walk on a lead but is not good off a lead and came into rescue because she kept wandering, although she has not tried to escape from her foster home … yet!! She is house trained. If you can offer Socks a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected] We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check.
  8. Toby is a lovely long tailed Doberman. He is a real sweetheart and gets on with most dogs but can take a dislike to some. He is great with people and kids. We are told he is 11yrs but he certainly doesn’t look it, more like 7 yrs. He was initially was a rescue but the owner who has had him some time now has lost his home and cannot take him to rented accommodation. If you can offer Toby a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected] We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check.
  9. Indie and Tally are 2 lovely 6-year-old labs, one yellow & one chocolate, who have lived together since they were 2 years old and would very much like to find a new home together. They are both typical Labradors, they love playing ball and very friendly, if a little boisterous. They are fine with older children but may be a bit boisterous for toddlers. Tally loves playing in the mud. They both travel well and are used to living out together. If you can offer Indie and Tally a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected]. We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check.
  10. Vicky is a very pretty and affectionate little girl who loves a cuddle. She is good with other dogs and cats and is good on and off a lead, although she will chase cars. She travels well but needs restraining because she will try to chase cars while she is travelling along. She is mostly clean in her kennel, loves adults and children alike, although because she jumps up a lot she would not be suitable for a home with toddlers. If you can offer Vicky a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected] We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check.
  11. Molly is a lively girl who is still stir crazy from being kept in a cage a lot. She is quite nervous and submissive and tends to want to stay in her kennel. She is good on and off a lead although she is not used to being on a lead. She is clean in her kennel overnight,is obedient and fine in a car. She is affectionate and likes a cuddle but can get over excited so we would not home her with small children. We feel Molly would be best as an only dog. If you can offer Molly a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected] We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check.
  12. Sasha is a very lively and affectionate small kelpie cross. She has lived with children and cats and behaves well with dogs outside of the kennel but she does not like to share her kennel and we think she would be better as an only dog. She is house trained, walks well on and off a lead and travels well. She will need someone prepared to give her plenty of exercise and a secure garden as she can jump well. If you can offer Sasha a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected] We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check. SASHA HAS NOW FOUND HER FOREVER HOME
  13. Specks is a Jack Russell x Corgi who was very over-weight when he came to us. He is now on a strict diet and exercise plan and the weight is coming off easily, although he still has some way to go, and his new owners would have to continue with this regime. He is unpredictable with other dogs when there is food involved, so would be better as an only dog. He needs someone who is familiar with terrier breeds, as he can be a little snappy, although he has been fine while with his fosterer. He can be affectionate and loves human company. He’s good with strangers and when he meets other dogs, and is good on and off a lead, but cannot be re-homed with young children, cats or chickens, and would probably chase small farm animals. If you can offer Specks a loving, forever home, please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected] are based in West Wales, but rehome all over the UK and will always carry out a home-check.
  14. Emi is a lovely Doberman or Rottie cross girl who is 6 years old. Sadly her owner died and so she is now looking for someone to take her place. She is very wary of men until she gets to know them, but someone with the patience to let her come to them and a quiet approach can win her round. She just loves to bring a toy to greet you and then roll on her back for a cuddle. Although Emi has been the perfect guest we feel she needs to be with someone used to guard breeds, as she may be protective in a home environment. Her fear of men may also be linked to something in her past as she was brought over from America as a pup. She is house trained, affectionate and obedient but does pull on a lead. She travels well and behaved very well when she was at the Vets. Obviously she cannot go with children but we really feel she would make someone a lovely loyal and affectionate companion. Although she happily shares her kennel with a boisterous male lab cross we feel she would be better as an only dog or with a quieter boy. She has had both cruciates operated on and so shouldn't be over exercised. Is there someone out there willing to give this lovely girl a chance? Ideally we would like to find someone in the area who is willing to foster her in the first instance with a view to giving her a permanent home if all goes well. We need someone who is willing to follow the advice given by our behaviourist to ensure Emi has the best chance of a successful re-homing. If you can offer Emi that special home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected]
  15. Sadly not. This is revised information regarding Annie. Please read if you are interested in adopting Annie Annie is a Welsh foxhound who was found as a stray and has the most adorable way of looking at you with big sad eyes. She has been used in a hunt and so has strong instincts to follow a scent wherever it takes her. She needs a large secure garden with solid fencing she cannot dig under or jump over, and another dog to keep her company. She does not like being shut in so somewhere she can have a lot of access to the garden would be ideal. Whoever adopts Annie will need to understand that they will need to keep her on a lead unless she is in a secure area. She is good with other dogs, and very laid back but has no concept of commands at all. She is very food orientated which we have used to work on her recall, and as long as she isn't distracted she will come back. Her interest in food will mean that she will steal if given the chance. She would make a lovely gentle companion for someone with patience that understands the ways of a hound, with the right environment. She travels well and is clean in the kennel. If you can offer Annie a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected] We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check
