  1. Loki won't play with other dogs (but she is very playful with people)

Fin will play with anyone! He has done a good job of getting the others to play. He occassionally persuades Cassie and Begley to play a little and he plays with Tess and Barney every day.

What a vicious young lady you have turned into - I am loving your floppy ear.

    Begley looks seriously unimpressed!

  2. Hi.

My dog is diabetic and I have to carry honey everywhere we go with her in case she has a hypo.

I'm guessing giving honey under normal circumstances may send her blood glucose too high.

(Honestly that dog is happy with his new harness..he's just not very expressive!!  )

    I believe you!!!!

Thanks, I'll measure her tonight and ask her choice of colours......

  4. I have to inject my diabetic dog, Polly every day.

The vet let me practice with sterile water in the surgery. I was petrified and stuck the needle in my finger - ouch!

Happily, real life has gone fine. I pinch the scruff and aim the needle straight down the pinch towards her neck.

Polly doesn't flinch at all and comes trotting up when she sees the syringe as she gets a piece of cheese after -

    Good luck, it'll be fine.
