Yes i tried that it said there was no data there so unable to continue. Both computers run on windows XP the ancient desktop is about 4-5 years old the laptop i bought as a cheapie at christmas, The ever helpful helpline of delhi after telling me to constantly turn the laptop on and off for 20 minutes and costing me something around the national debt then said why does it run on the packard bell system as there is known problems with that modem and that brand of PC!!!! The laptop is a medion one if that helps Thanks Emma x

greetings! I have just signed up for my new orange BB connection. Modem arrived today and line went active. I installed it on my ancient packard bell desktop no problems at all. Problem is the modem wont install on my laptop. even though the installation CD is inserted in the little drive thingy but it keeps starting up the windows wizzaed and says it cant install the hardware? The laptop is a medion cheapy thing but its been greatup till now and i havnt had any problems at all with it. The modem is a rather rubbish looking thing its a speedtouch 330. Any help gratefully recieved as im not the best with techy things x

Deep Disaster in Mer land!!! I am as of midnight tonight homeless Have been waiting on keys for my lovverly faemhouse present tenants have peed around for 2 months now assured me and the landlord they were off tomorrow.. now they are refusing to go saying there new accomodation is not ready for another 2 weeks. I have to be out of my house by tomorrow AM as the new tennants are moving in here. Instead of howling and throwing myself around i am being stoic and have purchased a......................................................................Tent!!!!! Oh yes myself 1 greyhound 1 houserabbit 3 cats and a royal python are off to live in a field for 2 weeks. At least we will all be together though they can keep me warm when its cold and pizzing down at night

Oh knowlegeable fugees a quick question for you if you dont mind.... If you apply for a job via emailed CV to a recruitment agency is it ok practice a couple of days later to email the chap who is dealing with it just to check he did actually recieve it and ask when if i was succesful in getting through to interview stage when that would be?? Or is it waaay to pushy?? Im a bit that they never recieved my application and i really really want the job

I am sooo dull its untrue. Was moaning at at Mark last night about being useless at the bubble game in that i cant finish it. He had me going until now saying that he had "finished" it loads of times and that when you do all the bubbles you have shot cascade down the screen... I have just realised i am stoopid and been lied too, u cant finish that game .. its never ending S,not fair.. Im always being picked on and wound up cos i have no common sense

Not well at all . Pup keeps on sitting at the gate tail wagging wanting to say hello to Charlie, He is on the other side snarling and drooling every time she comes near now. I have been sat on Charlies side trying to feed him hotdogs his favourite when pup comes near him but hes becoming so stressed out now he wont even take those

Helooo, just wanted a bit of advice, have a foster pup here, 7 week old baby girl who is just scrumptious. Charlie resident 7 year old greyhound has really suprised me .. by being scared of her!!!!!! He tries to stay out of her way as much as possible until she is still then sniffs her. He has grumbled a couple of times at her mainly when shes been boinging around him and hes cornered. Im a bit at this as i was most concerned he wouldnt actually like her never thought he would be frightened and unsure of her. Im sure like everything it will just take time for adjustment... Just wondered if theres anything i could/should be doing to make it easier for him Thanks x

Dear god... Poopies are making me brooooooodeeeeeeee. My 2 have come out the van and have immediately gone to sleep with 2 of my cats who just budged up and made room for them on their bed. Goes to show how used to other creatures arriving they are I thought poopies played .. ,Carol has sent me dodgey ones that are broked Just got the fun of intoducing Charleee hound now

Boris Cat has just wandered back into my kitchen as if he had only been gone a few hours, screamed at me for some food, has now started yowling to be let back out again Blooooody caaaaaats. ( obviously im very pleased he's back, im just soo mad at him for worrying me like that and making me think i had lost the plot when he wandered in without a care in the world !!)

No cats picked up by waste management in the last week Which still leaves me with the question where is the little beast though, He likes his food and must be starving by now. Im going to take the sniffer dog disguised as a greyhound out later when its quieter and cooler. Maybe he would find him as Boris and Him are great buddies

Boris Cat is missing has been for 3 days now, I am starting to think the worst. Have rang local vets and CPL and hes not been brought in. Does anyone know who i would ring if he had been run over and picked up dead I just really want to know know, good news or bad because im sat here paniking he is trapped somewhere
