  1. I've been thinking about that picture ...
  2. You really think she'd want to get rid of *that* picture?
  3. Did Mel close the last RMF cos people kept mentioning the hat?
  4. Sounds as though they're being responsible, waiting to ensure she's ok to be spayed. Hope the results are good when they do come back.
  5. I think they are mostly sane and responsible (Nothing like you).
  6. She should be able to I think - can you not, erm, just send her the link and ask her? I can ask people on my email list who are in the US if they can see it if you like?
  7. I've never understood it either. I lived in Wales for three years and us English folk always supported Wales if it wasn't England they were playing against. When it came to England though, the Welsh were very passionately in support of the other side. I think it's envy
  8. In Mark's defence, it *did* snow in Athens last month link to quote: "January 25, 2006—Fresh from hosting the Summer Olympics, Athens looked more like a Winter Games venue yesterday. The famously sunny city was struck by winter storms that shut down the Acropolis and its Parthenon temple, seen here through snow-laden boughs." So I think he can stop blushing a *little* now
  9. Cos Sam kindly offered £10,000 to the first person to find out the truth about Felix. OK, I may have lied
  10. M&Ms were called something else? I remember Marathon changing to Snickers, never understood that one. Or the jif to cif. Unless it was to stop people buying cleaning stuff when they actually wanted lemon juice? Sam, if it makes you feel any better, I don't even have cats and I nearly phoned the helpline number to ask about the name change, only it's not open at weekends Snap!
  11. Yeah, but that suggests it's always been called Felix here (assuming we're all in Europe). I don't really know why I care
  12. I'm confused then because the site Purina - says: "Felix, the nation's favourite black and white cat, is a cheeky rascal - just like your cat! He also demands the tastiest food - which is of course Felix! First launched in the UK in the 1970’s, Felix is a nutritionally complete lifestage cat food that comes in a huge range of textures and tastes, including delicious cans, tasty trays and tempting pouches, as well as crunchy dry complete. There are special varieties available for kittens and senior cats, along with tempting treats and milk. With its irresistible taste and fabulous range of flavours it's hardly surprising that cats like Felix, like Felix!"
  13. I don't recall Felix being called anything else either Certainly not for a lot longer than three years, I'm sure. Thread
  14. Definitely not me though I can empathise with the swaying and wobbling
  15. I remember working with someone like that a few years ago. I think we kept each other sane. We even had the odd game of desk tennis with cherry tomatoes - you don't meet someone you can do that with, every day of the week, do you?
  16. My lovely husband has just given me a tub of Viscount minis (the mint flavour ones) - yummy
  17. Wendy that's dreadful! I'd have gone home!
  18. That was *almost* as hard to understand as dog speak. I feel old now. Richard, hope you're ok - is he ok? I've missed lots!
  19. I have always put my contact details at the top, then employment history with most recent first as your OH does. I put education next, followed by interests and then the same bit about "references available on request". I figure for many jobs, employment is more relevant than education, unless you've only just left school/college/uni perhaps and haven't had much work experience, or your qualifications are especially relevant for the job.
