Glor wasn't meant to find a forever home but he has had one here, we all loved him dearly. I wish it could have been different and I could have written a more happy post about him going to his new home but it wasn't meant to be. I am devastated, my little soldier is gone forever. I will bury him under the trees out in the back of the house, he will be amongst the living there. I have cried until I had no more tears.
Glor was home, it was the best home he had ever had and was happy with you. He was also one of your dogs in your heart and that is what matters.
Run free at the Bridge Glor, you knew love at the end, and that made up for everything.

I often wonder if we are too "kind" to our prisoners
Probably but I prefer to have no regrets than want to kill for killing sake.
-
What Saddam done was wrong, but do we have the right to kill him? I don't thing we do, we are putting ourselves in the same position s he is, and I am not like him. I couldn't murder someone, nor could I sign the for the death of someone else no matter what they have done, that isn't up to me,.
Life imprisonment is far harder for him to cope with that death. Death is final, imprisonment isn't.

It is better to say Muriel, if you hadn't and it had been lyme disease you would never have forgiven yourself.

Thing of them as having forgotten to put their clothes on and are naked, with some of the shapes people are, I usually start to giggle

I thought you were talking about my little Hooligan who you adore

I am so sorry.
My little Gracie show what can be done with these aggressive Staffies and the crosses, but at least he will be at peace now.

Wash the walls down with sugar soap.
Dilute PVA, the instructions will be on it, and paint it on the walls, When dry, you should be able to paint inthe normal way.
This is how I do it and never had any problems.

Unfortunately cerise pink doesn't suite me but it does suite my sisters, Gracie and Bonnie, they look quite pretty in it. I wonder if that bed would be big enough for me, I am 28" tall, maybe not, but it will be big enough for the others.
You may have lost your balls Scampi, so have I but I also lost 6" of my tail then mum wonders why I won't run.
I have seen those cat balls, no wonder cats are the way they are when they have balls like that, full of holes and only small, won't even fill my mouth up.

managed to get on here because Mum's eyes are sore, serves her right for spending too much time on here instead of playing with me.
Jackson, Mum put Joe's harness onto a 10 to 12 week old pup the other day, fully open it will probably fit a 24" chest.
Scampi, how about a sample, next time your mum posts something to mine, put some in for me to taste.

Hey Scampie,
I tried to have another look when mum was on her computer but I was sent back to my sofa where I belong, or that is what I was told Mum also told me to mind my own business, but I do, I gobble it up quickly in case mum stops me from eating it.
These humans are really strange.

Merlyn, Mum says she'll have to watch out that your mum puts all the throws in the sale, 'cos she's so stretched for space here that she wants them all gone out of the way as soon as possible.
Mum has finished the Auction but I can't see any throws only this one.
A huge ex exhibition, Coney faux fur throw Donated by Al
with moss green under fur & various shades of grey tips to the hairs. (Like wild rabbits.) It is unlined and approx. size 74" x 64".
Mum said she was keeping them for herself and wants them cheap so I can have one to sleep on

The sales folk on TRPD have decided to put all the faux fur things in the auction that starts on 11th November
Scampie, I overheard my mum saying that she is going to forget to put them in the Auction so she can buy them all herself but we wouldn't be able to sleep on them I think I may blackmail her or tell Auntie Al, maybe I can get one for you as well.

Hey, Merlin, wanna know a secret? Mum and that Veronica - the one that keeps taking me home with her for a bath in her shower when I gets mucky - well, they found a small, faux Italian wolf fur throw when they were sorting stuff out today. Mum says she'll sneak it up in the throws thread after everybody has gone to bed tonight, and if she remembers. Wonder who will be the lucky one and get it? Fancy a bet? I reckon Maxi and Sophie's mum is in with a good chance. She never goes to bed very early, like Mum.
Hi Scampi,
Hmm, can't have that, maybe I will ask my mum to stop her from posting when everyone is in bed, I fancy that because mum won't let my have any of her's, she is a real meany at times

On the subject of Bilberry check, we have just half a roll of that fabric remaining and, as it was from stock destined for M & S and was bought when they moved their contracts overseas, it cannot be replaced. Once it has gone, that will be it. If anyone wants coats in that fabric - which is super quality - please order/buy ASAP to avoid disappointment.
Hi Skampi.
Nearly out of Bilberry check, if mum can't get that she will expect me to walk round the bushes instead of running through them Not only do they keep me dry and warm, but my Bilberry coat hasn't ripped yet even though I have been caught up several times. As for those sparkly collars, everyone admires me in mine but unfortunately they admire my brother and 2 sisters in theirs as well, and that takes their attention off me
This is a picture of me in my lovely, elephant collar that is a perfect match for my lovely, brindle coat. If you want to see a bigger picture of me, and you know you do, just click on the picture and a bigger one will come up. I am soooo handsome
This is a picture of Gracie in her sparkly collar, as normal she is trying to kick dad out of his bed in the caravan. That girl just doesn't know her place

Give her a gently hug from me and for you.
Does the pup next door wear a flee collar?

Someone near me was advised to do this with his very nervous GSD, this dog ended up attacked everyone and every dog he saw and had to be pts.
This is very dangerous advice, a nervous, hungry dog is a time bomb waiting to go off.

Hi Kelly,
welcome to the board
You know me by another name on TRPD, I am the sweeper-upper after Al
-
It is going to be discussed on Jeremy Vine show but not sure if it is the first or the second hour
-
Tommy used to do this with bad mannered dogs to teach them how to respect other dogs. She never marked them but they always showed more respected afterwards
-
I won't give it to my dogs unless they have had a blood test to check their liver and kidneys, if they are ok, they they can have a short course of Remadyl. It was thanks to this I discovered one of my dogs now at the Bridge had kidney failure and if she had been give Rimadyl, she would have gone very quickly.

I am with Direct Line for house, contents and my dogs and I have found them very good especially with the dogs, 2 are insured for life. It will be worth phoning them and if you tell them you couldn't buy on line because of your firewall, you may still get the discount.
