Saw this yesterday, very disappointed too, it doesn't affect me personally, but no doubt it will affect people's decision when taking on a rescue, particularly greyhounds.

If money were no object, I would like to buy a house in Wales with several acres of land, preferably with some woodland. I will then spend my days walking my dogs through the woodland and pottering around in my large garden, where I am going to grow Rhodos, Camelias, Magnolias, Wisteria and lots of other stuff. When it's too cold and wet to be outside, I will be inside in front of my wood burning stove snuggled up with the dogs and a good book.

 

I know that we'd all make a difference to rescue in some way or another, so that goes without saying, but what would you do for yourself to make you happier?

 

 

That pretty much sums up my ideal life too!! My ideal location would be the Isle of Wight, New Forest or Norfolk though.

I agree. I very rarely roautinely give my greys preventative flea treatment. If I did see a flea I would, but more easily spotted on the greys. Hate the thought of pesticides.

So sorry to hear this. I do sympathise, we lost a cat to a liver tumour last April and then one of our cats the following month. It's so hard when they go.

So sorry to hear that. Exactly the same thing happened to our Birman cat Misty, we took the 2nd choice too, but he didn't last long either. I really do sympathise. Hope his passing was peaceful.
