  1. Thanks for all the good wishes guys...I really appreciate them :flowers:

After I posted my self-pitying ramblings earlier I went in to try to edit it away cos I felt a bit embarrassed but it wouldnt let me...said I didnt have authority to edit it

Its nice to know that you are there...I normally manage to keep things in check pretty well but its been a really crap few weeks. It was my littlee boy Jareds 5th birthday last Tuesday but hes not here cos he was stillborn full term...his loss doesnt rule my life cos things have to go on for my other 2 kids but I do think about him a lot and it really hurts on special days cos theres a big hole there. What really gets me is that my lovely ex rang up the night before being really nice and I stupidly ended up sucked in by him and even cried while he was on the phone...then a few days later I got the papers about the custody hearing and he hadnt even told me he was gonna file them.

By the way...when it suits him he uses having a dead child as a sympathy winner yet about 8 months ago he said to me "no wonder you had a dead child its what you deserve"

  2. I split with my ex husband nearly 3 years ago just days after my sons 1st birthday and I was devastated...even though he was a violent control freak who loved nothing more than putting me down at every opportunity. We split in the October and on the New Years Eve he beat the crap out of me broke my nose, threatened to kill me and the kids and held me in the house waving the bread knife round. When he finally left I rang the police and they picked him up with the knife still on him. To cut a long story short he wrote letters to the court for me to sign saying that it was all my fault and that I was a twisted warped cow who gave him a dogs life and literally drove him to the edge and thats why he did what he did. The CPS did drop those charges but still did him for the knife and he ended up losing his job as a locality manager for an autism charity (his record means he no longer has a clear CRB). Of course he really beleives that its all my fault and nothing to do with him and he managed to make a lot of other people believe it too.

Its taken a hell of a long time but Im now really glad were not together...he even tried to get me to go back to him earlier this year and it was a great feeling to be able to say no. Now though hes trying everything he can to cause trouble and I really do wish hed just vanish...he threatened to top himself and take the kids with him cos I was limiting his access due to his irrational behaviour and now hes filed papers to go for full access!!! Hes also trying to scupper my efforts at staying on in the family home cos its the only home my kids have ever known and were all happy here so why should we have to move if I can make it work.

Deep down I know he doesnt stand a chance but Im really worried cos he plays Mr nice guy really well and is believable and I dont know that I can compete with that. With me what you see is what you get and thats all there is to it. Im not into playing games and I dont know if Ive got what it takes to keep fighting him cos its wearing me down and I just feel like crying. I thought by now things would be getting better but theyre not.

  3. Hi Katie.

I can send any messages via pm. Im don't know what I've done to it.

Don't worry about Sunday. We all had a lovely day out and the dogs had a great time splashing in the sea!

I can reschedule any time this week, Southport is only about an hour and a helf away and the dogs love it.

    Hiya Vickie...Ive pm'd you :)

  4. I know its a bit of a long shot but just wondered if any fugees are planning to head down from the North or North West to cheer Kazz on this Sunday? I have a printer that I need to try to get to Denese OLG and was just wondering if there was any way of trying to tie it in with peoples plans for Sunday?

    Keeping my fingers crossed :flowers:

  5. Hi

I can do it. I'm a teacher, so I'm off on holiday (hurraahh!).

Brunzara has met me and Will probably tell you that I don't have any apparant personality disorders!

I have two dogs, both boys, but I can leave them at home, if you think it'll be too much for your two.

Are yours girl dogs or boy dogs?

If you want, I could drive up over the weekend and do a meet and greet, so you know I'm not too sinister!

Oh you are a lifesaver!!!! I really thought I was gonna have to tell the kids we couldnt go and I know its only Pontins but theyve had a really rough time of things and its gonna be so nice to get away for a complete break :)

Thankyou so much for your kind offer...Ive come over all emotional now :flowers:

Ill pm you my number and then we can have a natter :)

  6. Did you have any luck yet?

    Pam

    ummmmmmm.......no :(

Thanks for your help in getting me in touch with the nice lady round here who looks after dogs in her home. We went round this evening to meet her and Elsa took one look at a dog who was staying and launched full-on at him!!!!! Ive honestly never seen her react to any other dog like that but as a result said lady isnt really keen on having them to stay (not that I blame her at all :( )

Back to the drawing board and running out of time

  7. Im posting this cos Im really in a big pile of poo :D

Me and my kids are meant to be going on holiday for a week at Pontins in Blackpool on Sat 5th August. We were lucky enough to be offered a freebie by the local Deaf Childrens Society cos my daughter has severe hearing loss.

Ive got a bit of a problem though......the dog-sitting arrangements I had in place have gone totally pearshaped and now it looks like we wont be able to go away after all :( Kennelling isnt really an option as we have limited funds and I would also worry about putting my 2 muppets in kennels as they really wouldnt enjoy it...they are total people pooches :D )

Im clutching at straws really but just wondered if anybody fancied a weeks holiday in sunny Southport...lovely beach walks and countryside strolls on the doorstep...lovely quiet garden backing on to a golf course which is also lovely for walks. The only snag is youd have to put up with Taz and Elsa/Moomin licking you to death and sitting on you when your watching telly in the evenings  They are both great with other dogs and love all people especially kids.

If anybody can come up with any suggestions Id be really grateful cos at the moment its looking like Im gonna have to tell the kids were not going :(

  8. Katie you will do just fine ,

If you can't get a year planner just

use whatever you can any sort of

notepad just write the dates on ,

Keep the cost of doing it as cheap as you

can more funds raised . Just keep calm

and enjoy it , thats the most important ,

I hope the weather is good and you raise

loads of money . GOOD LUCK :flowers:

    Thanks :flowers:

It should be a really good day...and one eyed dog and Jackysian are coming to man the stall too so weve got it cracked...roll on Sunday :)

  9. How about this:

    diary.jpg

    ooooooooo me like that!!! :D

err how do I do it tho

We did consider using an old diary but figured it would be easier if we just had something nice and clear and flat (if you know what Im on about  :D )

  10. have you thought of using a spreadsheet template on the PC ?

Please dont laugh........but I havent got a clue how to do a spreadsheet :blush02:

(now my secrets out...Im a total technophobe   )

If anybody could explain it to me in very simple terms Ill give it a go :flowers:

  11. Nancy came up with an idea for fundraising on the staffycross stall on Sunday that is so simple its positively brilliant!!!!! :)

(except for me its not actually very simple cos Im a bit technically challenged   )

Were gonna go with the "guess teddy's birthday" idea so we need to try and make something up that resembles one of those big year planner thingies that you put on the wall with the 12 months on it. Dunno if A4 size would be big enough to enable people to put their details in the date they pick so maybe something with 6 months on 1 sheet and 6 on the other (then I could probably just about manage to stick it together :D )

If anyone can understand what Im going on about and would be able to help me out could you let me know please :flowers:

    Ta very muchly :)

  12. Just looked at the packaging mine came in and it says its manufactured in Britain for Mooncup Ltd so Id say its not a P&G product cos it would surely say it somewhere. The box also says its approved by the vegetarian society and the company is listed as an ethical company in the good shopping guide.

I think the confusion may have been cos in the original post it sounded like it may have been a P&G product but after reading it a few times I realised it wasnt and the mention of P&G was possibly in reference to an earlier thread about P&G in general.

(Hope this helps...then again Ive probably just confused more people  :D  )
