KathyM
All they said on BBC news is something to do with 1 year old boy left in yard with the dog. Not sure if I've got that right, I was talking to Baz when the story broke.

ReikiAnge
I *think* they said on Sky that the dog was a family pet and I got the impression that the poor child was at a relative's house when it happened. Just awful

Red Rotties
Upsetting news. Yet again a small child has lost his life through the stupidity of adults. Travel safe little lad, may the lord make you an angel with a puppy at your side travel safe Mr Black and Tan to rainbow bridge where someone will take the time to teach you right from wrong

Mrs Mop
This is it. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_yo...ire/7163696.stm Family dog kills one-year-old boy A one-year-old boy has died after being attacked by a dog at a relative's home, police have said. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later died. The dog was destroyed in order to ensure the safety of others at the address, a police spokesman said. The incident is being investigated. A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said they were alerted by the ambulance service at 1530 GMT. He added that the boy's family was being supported by specially-trained officers.
