Amaranth Posted May 8, 2007 Report Share Posted May 8, 2007 Took Merlyn and Kleine to Newbury this weekend and Merlyn managed a clear on Saturday in the Maxi Beginners steeplechase (he was rather dreamy this weekend ). Kleine however was a star dog and jumped clear 5 times out of a total of 6 runs this weekend and would have jumped clear in all 6 if she hadn't spotted her Dad and nipped around the penultimate jump to head for him! Unfortunately my little brown dog is not terribly fast and only managed two rounds within the time but we dont need rosettes to be chuffed to bits with her - this was her 5th show. Of course she still felt the need to tell me and all around us how to do it...loudly!! Here are all three including Rufus in te middle who came as mascot! On Merlyns Sunday Agility round the jump before the dog walk hadn't been put up after the previous round and it totally confused Merlyn and made him more "Another planet" than usual and he wouldn't concentrate. Kleine went clear but she is a steady weaver and cautious on Dog walk and SeeSaw hence out of time. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
