I have just done 5 miles on the bike my legs are wobbly,these facts are related

Well today I have walked the dogs for an hour.
Done three miles on the exercise bike including some hilly bits.
Done 100 sit ups
Some press ups with the ball and some other bits using a 3Kg kettle bell.
I might try another couple of miles on the bike when my legs have recovered

I am still here and plodding on.
You are all doing so well and put my feeble efforts to shame,but I guess every little bit helps.
I wish I had thought about doing it when I was younger but I was too fat and lazy then

It is easy to work out your calories and what you should use etc.
It really helped me when I was logging everything.

I did some more jogging this morning. My pedometer told me that in half an hour I did just over 5 miles

Did a workout today in the hotel gym - it was boiling. Not 100% sure that the air con was working though

Right OH has gone back to work today so I am back on the wagon
I have done crunches and press ups,some bits on the ball and Kettle Bells and 3 miles on the bike.
Now time for a sit down and some food

I have managed to lose one and a half pounds of my Xmas extras so am a happy bunny

I have now run 26.2 miles since the 1st January...this equals a marathon...ouch, now see why people need to train lots to be able to run all that in one go!

Ah you are all much younger than ancient old me
I put on a few pounds over xmas so am now 9stone 4,I was 9 st.1 before and want to get to 9 st. if I can.
I am about 5 ft 4 inches or maybe just under, but I am quite big framed.
My problem is that old bodies are a lot harder to tone up and I want to avoid getting too wrinkly if I can.

I have just seen Body Blast and Zumba classes being advertised at the local school,which is easier to do or best especially if you have rubbish co ordination

I have had a play with the ball suggestions and they seem achievable for my old body,so I will continue with them.I also did some sit ups,Press ups and planks
I am going to try for 5 miles on the exercise bike later.

Hope you don't mind me joining in
I have lost nearly three stone in the last two years and am trying to get fitter,I am around the right weight now but would like to try and tone up the flabby bits but I guess that I am a lot older than you all.I am 57.
I have an exercise bike,a gym ball and some kettle bells at home but need some suggestions for suitable things using them.

I haven't posted for ages but I have been watching sometimes.
Well done to all the losers.
I was 15 stone 1 pound but I am now 12 stone 4 pounds and back in my size 14 jeans,which I am really chuffed about. Still a 16 on top tho. Anybody got any advice on how to get rid of "spare boobs" under my arms or bingo wings? x

Well today I can say that I have eventually lost the extra pound I put on at Xmas.
I have also lost another half pound as well which means that I am now a whole 3 stone lighter than I was two years ago.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still want to lose another pound so that I can say I am 9 stone exactly.
And very well done to you all and go for it Loobie
