well the invision customer forums are awash with people complaining about spam registrations... we have gotten off lightly so far (only 40 odd registrations - some sites have had hundreds). even with the latest security patch it looks like invision may have a problem on their hands

yeah... tbh the word lots doesn't even begin to do it justice... if anyone spots any feelthy steeenin spammers that slip though please report the post and I will nuke them from orbit - just to be sure

I have enabled some new anti spamming features to save snow pulling her hair out if you have been caught by these and think you shouldn't be please try to re-register if you are a spammer and want to bypass the new features please email [email protected]

ok thats the new antispam filtering service enabled.. lets see if it works...

am enableing som e whizzy new antispam gubins later on this evening.. hopefully it wont make anything go wibbly...

well i think i have finally got all the database bugs fixed... that was a sould destroying task... now to start on the cosmetics

still bug fixing but all the major ones have been done. there are a LOT of new things in this release.

arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh all i can say is stupid databeses....

yeah smileys are on my niggle list the main one though is a load of the plug ins dont work as they should... you probably wont notice these though tbh

there are still some treething problems with the new software but on the whole the admin side is now much easier. over the weekend I wil be addressing a list of niggles I have and then will look to rearrange things a bit to make the boards easier to use.

some database problems were encountered during the upgrade process that has meant i have rolled them back. Invisojn are currently looking at the issues and board upgrade wil go ahead once the issues have been resolved

at 10:30 today I will commence the board upgrade. it shouldnt take long but the forums wil be down for a short while whilst various files are updated.
