    Bones

We have bones every day and their are also uncooked knuckles laying about the place for some good teeth cleaning.
  2. both kaye and I left our details and numbers - they said they would be in touch if needed. We offered to split the litter to make it easier on both mums. I was under the impression a bitch that had just lost a litter was now mum.
  3. I thought this had been sorted earlier this week? I know many folks offered help.

    Out To Play.

The pups have been out exploring. How do you get up there then? Time for some gardening. So how does this garden lark go? Well come with me little one and I will show you.. With the BIG boys. Lottie. Tucker. Jiffy. Pest control. Some plotting afoot.
  6. That one is awfully vague - yet so different compared to the other link. It will be interesting to get the full account of what happened.
  7. Tiger staffy shot dead. Run free little girl. xxx
  8. I dont mean animals that have been handed in and then discovered to be poorly. Once in care I couldnt turn my back on them either. Am talking more about dogs advertised for sale as poorly.
  9. What are folks take on rescues that take on very ill dogs knowing the treatment is going to cost thousands when they dont have the funds to then pay for that treatment?
  10. I cant get my head round this I am upset of course for the victim, the little girl. It is an experience that will be with her for the rest of her life. I am happy for the owners. They have been a long time with out their loved pet, and who can say what a change this may have had on him too. I am furious at the handling of the case by the first judge. And how a Rotti breeder, and someone involved in welfare, can make such an off hand conclusion on a dog she has never laid hands on It has turned out to be a pretty 'costly' affair for all involved. I hope lessons have been learned.
  11. Think its hasty and not thought through completely - but a positive step in the right direction.
  12. Don't pick her up. The dogs will just jump up to sniff. If you are worried or want to just slow their eagerness a little, you can just step in front and put yourself between them so they can say hello nicely.
  13. I can't get the link to work for some reason. Whats in it? I personally wouldn't put all my hope on a 'potion' go back to some old training and bring his confidence back up. Walk and play with calmer dogs and see how much is more the other dogs being rude and not aggresive behavior.
  14. So sorry for your loss. Run free Issie. xxx

  20. We met some friends and took Daisy for some time out away fromm horrible smelly poopies. She loved the long grass. Playing with friends. Happy smiley girl. Showing off her hanging baskets.
  21. Theyve started playing Sasha starting early!! Sasha and Tucker. Tucker. Lottie escaping with Loola watching. Jiffy on the move. Whats this? Gibson. Peekaboo Sasha. And clever Mum Daisy.
  22. We run at Westhaughton track. It is a fine line between supporting the industry. As far as I am aware - The Afghan club hires the track for a small fee. We pay to run, and after the hire costs are covered, its the Afghan club that takes the difference. Greys and whippets are raced at the track, but not while we are there. For me its a great chance to give the dogs a secure run in more controlled conditions. Our bull lurcher can be very dog aggressive and we have to take great care letting her off lead elsewhere. At the track she has tunnel vision and the other dogs just dont cross her mind. And she loves it. We choose every detail of the run, including the number of dogs that run together, the length they run and how much they run. Some dogs that come don't run and just come for the socialisation. The best bit is knowing that all the dogs are going home to comfy sofas wether they run or not. My Borzoi is just starting her ignorant age so its great to let her run and know there is no where for her to disappear to.
  23. The next one now isnt until August the 17th. Any breeds are welcome to have a run.
