Jj 9mth Old Lab X Retriever

Please meet JJ a very special lad who deserves a very special loving home. He is a lab x retriever who at aprox. 12 weeks old he sadly faced being destroyed as so called owner /breeder could not sell him and did not want him or his siblings

On arrival in rescue

 

JJ was born with only one and a half ears and is deaf. ( his littermates were all fine.)He can hear certain tones/pitches and does respond to them.

 

Now at 9 mths old he is looking for a special loving home of his own Someone who will foster him until his treatment is completed and then adopt him.

JJ is under the RVC (Royal Veterinary Hospital) and is going to need to have surgery on his ears which will cost approx £3000. Don't panic though 4Pawz&More Rescue are paying for all his treatment.We are at present fundraising and perhaps you would like to support us at our Fun Fancy Dress/ American Supper Swinging 60's night May 9th in Deal Kent.

 

JJ is one in a million and does not let his deafness spoil his zest for frolics & fun.He is so loving, playfull and fun to be around.He adores being with you and seeing what you are doing and even helping out if he can.He is good on & off lead and loves everyone and every dog he meets.He is not even bothered by the local sheep and chickens

He has been very well socialised and knows basic hand signals.He is not too fond of the car but will go in one,good with children and the house cats. He loves to play chase & rough tumble with the other dogs. Adores playing with his toys and doesn't even mind sharing them.

He loves a lap cuddle and but doesn't realise he is to big for them now :smile 1: .He is crate trained, although of a night would prefer to curl up and sleep by your bed.He is fed a natural diet and is very food orientated which does make training easy .Would prefer to be with another dog as does like company and has helped him with his training as he also watches and learns from the other dogs.

 

I really can't say bad word about this lad :Hearts: and just hope someone out there will give this big loving lad the chance he deserves.He will return your love a 100 times over.All costs including feed will be coverd by rescue until time of adoption We will give you full support and all we ask is that you are 100% committed to this fab lad and give him the time and love he deserves.

 

Homing Info

JJ is looking for an active older family who will play with him and make him part of the family life. Garden must be secure 5 ft fencing and above.New owners must have transport incase required for vet trips and not be out at work all day.You must also be prepared to continue his training and learn hand signals and must be willing to attend training classes.
