raiye
Jimi is a handsome young male Lurcher who has come to us from a stray pound via a foster home. We don't have an early history on him, so don't know how he lost the end of his tail for example. Whilst he was in a foster home he appears to have had a few fits. We've done various tests on him which have shown absolutely nothing abnormal, so this could be epilepsy ..............however, since coming to me Jimi has not had any more episodes that we've seen Maybe it's an intermittent thing? He's not on any meds for it anyway. Apart from these mysterious fits, he's a very healthy young dog.... BUT he really is lacking in social skills and has no idea of how to greet other dogs. We're working on this under Jim Greenwood's guidance and Jim is happy to be part of Jimi's "rehoming package" (at LL's expense of course). Jimi absolutely ADORES people and loves children He's used to being left in a crate (which is a good idea for his own safety IF he should have any more fits when he's alone) and is OK to be left for a while. He walks really nicely on a lead, but will pull if he sees a cat / squirrel etc and is very strong. He lived with cats in his foster home, but doesn't seem very cat friendly here I'd prefer he didn't go to a home with cats or very young children. He may be OK with a really calm and steady older dog/bitch to keep him in line. If anyone would like to know more about Jimi, please get in touch - email: [email protected] or ring 01422 240168. He's currently in West Yorkshire.
