Snow - sorry to read you had such a bad experience. I think spending the £150 will be money well spent and put your mind at ease.
-
Sorry about the bed situation Snow. Hope there is one for you later on in the day.
-
Good luck Snow and hope all goes well.

Snow it is good that they are going to do the heart scan sooner rather than later. I had a scan followed by a further test which took three hours on two separate weeks. If I drop dead suddenly, it shouldn't be from heart related problems as they said my ticker was fine!! Mine were done and done quickly, as they wanted to know if my heart could stand the cancer treatment that I needed. Hang on to the thought that you might be pain free.
-
Snow in many ways it was a positive consultation. Just think about having the one procedure done at a time and not on the whole picture. First the heart tests and if they are fine then on with the operation to remove Sid. I am also a large lady and did fine when I had my kidney removed. I had an excellent anaesthetist and surgeon. The problem I had was post op as I had problems with lung function and had a couple of days in intensive care during which time my lungs inflated themselves. I really do hope they can do something for your pain.
-
Fingers crossed for you today Snow. Hope they can do something for your pain now and then do further tests if necessary.
-
I hope when you see the consultant Snow you get listened to and he/she finds out what is wrong and more importantly gets it fixed. That amount of pain is just not tolerable. I always used to get told that everything that was wrong with me was weight related, but I am not convinced. Once diagnosed and treated for cancer they have gone surprisingly quiet on the weight issue!! Take a list of all the things you have noticed and all the questions you would like to ask.

Hahahaha Well BrackenMc...if it is good enough for the dogs only fair you get seen too as well, hope all goes o.k for you
Spent some time in the garden today, had a little look at my fence, just a little bit needs looking at and it will then be finished, popped the dogs coats on though as it was still chilly, mums friend called so had a natter with her and made a sardine cake for the dogs...bleurgh!!!!
Thanks for that Griff. Like yourself I have medical problems, but try to keep cheery in spite of this. My dogs are my sunshine in life and keep me going.

Dogs have all had boosters and now it is my turn to have an MOT. Dentist today, doctor tomorrow and need to make an appointment for an eye test some time soon.

I am also a member of the stupid o'clock club. I either wake around 3 a.m. or I am still awake at 3 a.m. never having been to sleep. Feeling very zombiefied.

I am with you on that.
When we moved house we found that mice had made a nest consisting of chewed up poo bags in our garage.
I had some saplings in pots standing in the garden over the winter and when I went to plant them out mice has chewed holes the size of 50 p piece in the sides of the plastic pot. No plastic was left lying on the ground so I don't know if they wanted roofs for their nests or they ate the plastic.
We do get them in the garage but after finding they had got into the car and eaten the dog biscuits in the door locket we now keep traps set.
One of our neighbours had problems with them getting into his engine and chewing through cables.
The joys of country living.
The one living in the shed was tucked up in amongst some patio chairs. I was moving some stuff nearby and it came out to have look at me, then went back into its hidey hole. The chairs, which have cloth seats, were swiftly moved indoors- making sure no mouse was included.
We set up a night viewing camera and caught it on tape outside the shed in the middle of the night and another night walking across the shed floor. It is a lovely little field mouse but not welcome to chew my belongings.
Yesterday I was planting up a pot and the bag of straw beside me started rusting. So it was left outside for it to vacate and the warp on the door frame fixed so it couldn't get back in.
We bought a 'thing' to go on the bottom of the garage door and never had them in there again.
-
I don't mind the mice as long as they stay outdoors. We had them in the garage one year and I didn't much like that.

Hope Snow has had some pain free time and has managed to do her shopping for any hospital necessaries.

I have now Googled this number and it says it is a scam.

I saw Coke and Popcorn mentioned on the boards and had a look. I had no sooner clicked on it than a spoken warning came on the screen with an 020 telephone number to call in case this had caused a virus on my computer. I don't know where 020 is and whether it is a premium rate call.
I have done a scan. Help please.

I saw Coke and Popcorn mentioned on here and thought I would have a look. I had no sooner clicked on it than a security alert came on the screen (spoken) with a phone number to contact in case this has caused a virus on my computer. I have started a scan and don't know whether to phone the number given. Help please. It's an 020 number and don't know where that is or if it is a premium rate call.

Yes - that's me.

I manage CT scans fine as it is more open ended. For the MRI and since I am claustrophobic, I had to lie there with my eyes shut tight and pretend I was walking the dogs at the beach. I didn't get any headphones and the noise was like being stuck in a traffic jam with road works going on nearby. If you are not claustrophobic you should be fine. Good luck and I hope they find out what is wrong, or hopefully that there is nothing wrong.

I think you need to find some puppies to cuddle Sam to de stress yourself. We all know how hard you work and how much you have achieved.
-
I used to use Animed for any pet related medication and found their service excellent.
-
How on earth do you manage to have dogs and manage a lie in? Having said that it is usually me that is glad to get up to take pain killers. The dogs would be fine for a while longer.

Best place for your Dad Yantan if he has taken to going out without his clothes on. I take it he has some form of alzheimers or dementia. It is sad to think that of 7 children none want to have anything to do with him. You will all have your reasons no doubt. Karma tends to catch up and what goes around eventually comes around.

We had home made chill for tea. I made a huge pot so have some for the freezer as well to save cooking another day.

So sorry about your news Suzeanna.
I also have problems with my back and when I have to have scans done I ask them to put a pillow under my knees and that relieves some of the pressure.
