  1. She's lovely - what an eager face and waggy tail  I've never seen a greyhound retrieve a ball before though, or is she a lurcher?

No she's a Greyhound and nearly 8!

I didn't know she retrieved a ball until last year when I let her off and I had a ball for Griff my lurcher and she beat him to it. I prefer to let them have the ball on their own though as Griff is a bit of a lout and barges her! I think she'd prefer something small and fluffy but i'm afraid she'll have to make do with the ball!

  2. Its not often Paris gets any one on one time now that Missie has gone because Griff can't be left. So today we went up to the farm put Griff in the car and took madam out with the ball, she had a great time not having to compete for attention or the ball and I think you can see by her face how much she is loving it...

This picture isn't great as she was moving rather fast and then my battery went!

But here is a video of her frolicking!

  3. Griff loves his job as a demolition supervisor! He likes to make sure that the kitchen is always prepared for demolition and if it looks in danger of being tidy he sorts that out. He and Paris also work in quality control, they test the food in the fridge, just to make sure it is of satifactory level for hooman consumption!

Paris is also border control of the strictest kind...

  4. I feel pretty uncomfortable about men of 40-odd ogling 17 year old girls, I have to say, so for me, there's no difference.

I'm only 25 though... It still feels slightly wrong though even though I am still quite young but then its only looking isn't it.

I do hope that people don't go to the play just for the DR bum factor because that not only takes away from the production but also his acting ability.

  5. I agree that at 17 he can make up his own mind.

He cannot live as Harry Potter forever and there was bound to be some time when he did something 'controversial'.

Oh and he is also gorgeous but i've been saying that for ages and feeling quite wrong for it too!

  6. My dad had his first lamb born today and obviously Tiegan wanted to see it asap so we went up to the farm earlier, he was about an hour old if that and not quite dry.

Because mum is sooooo fluffy we wern't sure if he'd found his way to a drink or not so we turned her up and made sure he'd had colostrum and a drink and then left them to it.

Dad only has a handful of sheep so lambing time isn't too busy for him but there will be a few more to come yet...

Oh and the pic of Griff is just because I thought he looked so cute sat on the chair. Paris is sprawled on the sofa, sleeping with her eyes open but the batteries ran out...

I managed to coax one more pic outta the batteries...

    Lady Muck...

  7. lovely boy. Isn't it funny that whenever you take a pic of a dog you nearly always notice afterwards the dogs hairs on the floor or something in the background that you would rather not be there!

    Tell me about it!

Most of the hair I have noticed does belong to Griff and I have a feeling that he may be the reason that the hoover no longer works too...

Well Teddy has gone back to kennels but I am pretty sure he'll have a home to call his own soon, he's such a nice dog and will be a superb addition to anyones home.

  8. He has been so good overnight! He didn't fancy the sofa as a bed so he came up on my bed as I didn't want to leave him with the other 2 overnight, just in case.

He slept on my bed all night and woke me up this morning when he wanted to go out and now he's having a small breakfast before we walk him and take him back.

He's such a lovely dog and would make someone a great pet, i'm so tempted but I just don't have the room unfortunately.

  9. The rescue I got Paris from and do the odd homecheck for rang me this evening to let me know that one of the dogs had to come back to them. I offered to pick him up as its only round the corner from me and the lady who runs the rescue had only just finished work and lives the other side of Brighton, about 30 miles from here.

So we have Teddy for the evening, a 3yr old retired greyhound lad who we will be returning in the morning. He is such a sweet boy, my 2 adored him but Griff kept trying to play and jump all over him so i've put them in the kitchen.

Here he is... And so handsome!

Have just noticed what a state my carpet is in! I hoovered this afternoon but the hoover seems to be broken...
