Oh theres a few which pay real money, but most make you save up points until you get enough to redeem for vouchers or paypal and you end up doing quite a few long repetitive surveys before you can "cash out" the difference with this one is that you do only get 2 a month each paying £3 and the odd quickie to establish your shopping habits so they know what surveys to send you - in all honesty this one pays me £4 a survey but new sign ups are only being offered £3 which is similar to when I joined up 2 years ago those there before me get £5 per survey. I never miss one of these surveys, whereas I often dont bother with the points saving ones unless I'm bored, but I still get about half a dozen redeems in a year from points, it's not a huge amount of money but its FREE money and I use it to treat myself on ebay
Thanks for the link, I have signed up - I hope they choose me to take part.
I tend to convert my TNS points to Amazon eVouchers although I must admit some of the surveys can take quite a while although it's still something for nothing. Another thing that's a bit annoying is that they sometimes close before I get a chance to start them because they have already had enough participants. I've had some freebies though - big box of dishwasher tablets that looked suspiciously like Finish Quantum Powerball, a box of Cadbury's Heroes and a Cadbury's Starbar!

Please can I have the survey link? I already do TNS surveys for points but didn't realise cash paying surveys existed - thank you
-
Some of the stuff from Amazon comes from Jersey. I ordered two ink cartridges that should have been here on the 8th but didn't arrive until 14th so there may still be hope of a pre-Xmas delivery

Not that one but I have the study materials for the AAT Award in Bookkeeping that you could borrow if you are looking for a course
Although I have a feeling that you already have a bookkeeping qualification as when I was asking about it you gave me some advice but I can't check back now cos I can only see posts made after Nov 2009 so it might not have been you

I am dead impressed by that. I completely admit I can't do maths on any level, not even 9-year old maths. So how do you even go about working that out Hayley
I have to admit I had a bit of help!!
-
One of my friends has asked me to help with her 9 year old daughter's maths homework and it's scrambling my brain!!
You need to make the number 793 from using the following numbers only once: 8, 8, 4, 75, 50 and 100.
Help!!!!
(((100+8)x8)+4)-75=793
or
((100-(8-4))x8 + (75-50)=793

I saw this on Facebook - great news
-
How is this going? Has your friend had her CRB check back yet?
-
That would be great, but she has been told that she's not allowed to know which police force has got the application until they've had it for 60 days, so at the moment she cannot contact them as she doesn't know who has got it.
Because it took so long for the form to be sent off to the police, they have only had it for 50 days so far, so she has another 10 days to wait.
She could try phoning every police force she has lived in for the last 5 years and asking them if they have it, depends how desparate she is really.
-
Hello
I work in CRB at my local police force. We get phone calls everyday from people wanting to expedite their application. We then prioritise them and let them know what's happening with it within 30 minutes (this is all part of the Citizen Focus pledge that we have signed up to).
I would get your friend to phone the police force that the application is with and ask them to expedite it.
Hope that helps

Replacement is a JRT puppy called Poppy who was purchased on the day that Sandie (previous pup) died. The alleged incident was local to me and rewards of up to £5000 were offered to catch the offenders. Yesterday's local paper claims that the story is still true and April (child with ADHD who the puppy was bought for) is upset that no-one believes her

I know from personal experience that this can happen. It is called right to off-set which means that when you have fallen into arrears with payments to a credit card or loan and you also hold a current account with the same company, they can use the "Right to Off-Set" to take funds from your current account (without your permission!) to bring the debt back up-to-date.
This definition is from Payplan's website which also has a wealth of other debt related info. http://www.payplan.com

Nice to see you here Katie

Hi
I'm hoping there's a fugee out there that knows a little bit about Mac puters that can help.
My daughter has been looking for a used Mac. She designs websites (self-taught and pretty good I have to say )
She wants one so that she can test out the websites that she has designed using the Mac operating system and using the different browsers on the Mac.
She's found this one and others of same model:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=180322047943
Can anyone tell me if it would it be suitable for the purpose she wants??
Big thank-yous in advance
Hi
I have an iMac G5 that is almost 5 years old and has Mac OS X 10.3.9 as the operating system so a concern with the model you have found is that Mac OS 9 is older than my operating system which itself is almost 5 years old so perhaps it won't be quite what she needs although I am no Mac expert so I could be completely wrong

Hayley - with a serious puller wouldn't this pull against the windpipe of the dog?
Hi
I don't know as I didn't actually walk the dog that was wearing the harness. I just know that the other dog walkers thought he seemed better on the Hurtta harness
-
Hi
A Hurtta harness has been trialed at Wiccaweys - they are different in that there are no straps under the armpits. I think this is the one that Sarah was using.

Hi Hayley
We are on the look out for people to assist us as regional coordinators. I dont think we have anyone covering your area at the moment. If you are interested why dont you drop Kelly a line ([email protected]) and she can go through the role with you
Will do thanks

This was on Anglia News last night. I used to live in Stevenage and know the lake. Very sad
-
I noticed the changes this morning but didn't like to post in case you wanted to make a special announcement
I think it's great and love the way you can search by tags/size and type, etc.
Well done
-
Okay will do a general poster at PAH and the Vets then.
Don't forget that I am in my area! Have done a few homechecks for you and several for Wiccaweys. I can also drive now (not sure if I told you that) and I currently have plenty of time on my hands due to losing my job at the end of last year.
I can't help with fostering at present as I have a Wiccs foster dog here but maybe in the future.
-
Hi
Did you get one of these in the end? I have had mine for approx 8 weeks now and have mixed feelings about it. I got the rabbit one for three GPs.
-
I had the pleasure of meeting and walking Meg at Wiccaweys and what a pleasure it was. She is great and I think she has now found a new home.
How wonderful that she could be helped
-
I found the posters. I will do the tear off strip one but wondered if there are any dogs looking for a home in my area which is Cambridgeshire (Huntingdon, Peterborough, Cambridge, etc)

Congratulations on your new addition
Can't wait to see pictures of new hairdo

Have signed up here too and I'm about to start the first survey! I chose John Lewis vouchers to use towards my Ocado shop.
Many Thanks
