    Ermm, brain now in gear and have realised that search engines can't read text on pic (I don't think) :unsure:

     

    Mindy how will you have time to do all your festive decorations for both of your houses?

     

    I hope this doesn't mean we will miss out on your usual informative festive decorations thread :mecry:

    I asked Paul for a Dolls House for my Christmas present, gave him the link with what to get etc :biggrin: It arrived and seemed to be more boxes than I thought it would be so used my special spying techniques to discover what it was :rolleyes:

    So I could tell he had got me the extra garden room for it as well :biggrin:

     

    As we all know I am not a very patient person, so after a couple of weeks of pester pester pester, Paul allowed me to have the main part of it early :laugh: :laugh:

     

    So following will be lots and lots of photos as it progresses :biggrin:

    I am a rescue rep and am here and The Oldies post quite a bit.

     

    I once pm a mod, I did get a reply several weeks later to say that they don't come here very often now. I do usually get a quick reply from Snow.

     

    Then is it maybe time for some recruitment of Mods that will come here often and drive the forum forwards :unsure:

     

    I'm guilty of not having posted that much in the last months, but I am still very much involved in rescue. My charity has been on the receiving end of generousity from this site and in this day and age, every penny counts, so I would truly love the refuge to get back to doing what it started doing :flowers:

    I know that snow can be a bit of a problem with transport etc and people getting places, but I do so love to see it. Seeing the photos on here is probably the nearest I will get to it :rolleyes: Makes me feel very christmassy, please keep them coming :flowers:

    I think for me I have a limited amount of time, my main focus etc is rescue and trying to raise money for it, this board has little rescue involvment, no fundraising, no auctions etc.. I think it has no focus over than a bunch of people who enjoy a chat.. which is fine, but doesn't bring new people in or attract people involved in rescue...

     

     

    Absolutely elricc,just look at the Volunteers section,so many members who presumably have some interest in Rescue but hardly anyone is using this at all.It's such a shame that a forum that has Animal Welfare and Rescue under it's title just isn't actively involved in either anymore.

    I think all of the above sums it up really. It seems to me that The Refuge has lost its way from its beginnings when it was so passionate about Rescue.

     

    I don't feel there was a certain sort of clique, but if there was, then that clique did make things happen rescue fundraising wise etc, thats all gone now very sad

    I have not kept up at all so I apologise and send lots of :GroupHug: 's to all that need one.

    I have lots of RMF's :rolleyes: I shall limit them to one per post :unsure:

     

    I persuaded my OH to give me half my Xmas present early , I have now started construction on my Dolls house, can't tell you how relaxing and also exciting it is :biggrin: I may bore you with photos as it progresses :rolleyes:

    I have a new hobby :biggrin: I've not got it yet, I've requested it for Christmas, but I am about to get into the Dolls House collection hobby :biggrin: I've researched all my interior bits already and have found a fab website that does made to measure kitchens, however they cost almost as much as the real life kitchens I sell :laugh: :rolleyes:

    Wow, Wow, and Wow, Cher was brilliant :ohmy: I have renounced all my vows to nurture young good looking boys and think I should take on the role of fairy godmother to a girl that really does have talent :flowers:
