  1. Apparently, Timmy Mallet has gone following a drink/eat off of nasty things with Piddock I believe!

My mate told me he spat everything out because he's a veggie, is that right?

Must say I refuse to wath the programme because of the animal abuse, cant really oppose people watching greyhound racing and then watch a bunch of ejits eating live animals really but thats just me.

  2. All I could find was this (am procrastinating at work  ). I know the site is potentially dubious, but *anything* you read on t'interweb is dubious, from PETA, the BBC or wherever. Why do we inherantly believe one site over another? (Not a question you skyblusu, I am just musing to myself :flowers: )

Oh I agree we should question anything we read and who is saying it and also who sponsors them, however I was looking for a direct quote from PETA as it was stated that PETA themselves were saying we should be releasing all our pets to defend themselves in the wild - I cannot find where PETA say that.

  3. I am always very suspicious of what PETA says, they deliberately make things a lot worse than they are to get the reaction they want. Don't forget, according to them we shouldn't have our dogs either, we should release them to fend for themselves.

Whether you are a veggie or not is a personal decision, we should not be be continually battered for what we eat. Many meat eaters are working for a better life for farm animals, and already they have made a big difference.

Can you point me to a link to where PETA say we should be releasing our pets please, all I could find was this

  4. If I'd realised quite how gorgeous he was going to turn out I would never have rehomed him

Oh Rachel!! trust me you would, he still sings all the time in the van all 5 hours it takes to get to Wales but Im so glad you gave me the chance to have this boy. He has his issues but is the softest most loving loon.

  5. I know her back yard faces my most favourite landscape - when I was a teenager me and my friend used to pushbike over there and just sit on the tumulus and watch the day go by, I still have lots of happy memories of that skyline (also great for watching storms and lightning)

It certainly has some nice views round there just hope they dont build on it! Fingers crossed will have some things to drop off and check the views out again.

  6. I have a bit of a confession to make and as a taxi driver, this is a very hard confession to make....

I have never been able to find the house of Wiccs

I know it's there somewhere, I just can't see it, either that or I'm terrified I'm going to get a wagon up the bum slowing to look for it :blush02:

SF I could always ring for you taxi and show you where it is  Have done a bit of an appeal at work today so hopefully will have a few bits to send over.
