  1. Jeanne that is just cheeky, I’d see what happens on your next lesson and if still not getting your full time definitely say something.

Clare & collies r best, hope you get insurance sorted, must be worrying alright :(

How long is Blue in for

    Lesson tomorrow :elefant:

  2. Jumping in lesson on Friday this week though don’t know if I’ll manage to remember to do anything different with my legs other than getting over jump  will see what happens.

Flatwork lesson today, 20m circle at A, smaller circles at A, same at C, 3 looped serpentines, figures of 8, light seat and repeat, jeez I was bloody knackered

Instructor took me to the side today and said she thinks I need to move to a different lesson with another couple of girls as im a bit more advanced than the girls I ride with at the minute, gonna do 1 lesson with each and see how that goes. I like riding with my friends but if we’re at different levels its difficult to teach I suppose. Will still ride Magic with other girls too

    Wanda and Kim

Poor Fern hope she’ll be ok :GroupHug:

Awwww Blue are you starting to feel the cold already

  3. CP I took my stirrups up one hole for jumping this week, think if I took them up any more I‘d feel like a jockey  glad Milo has clean bill of health

Clare the instructor at the yard said they wouldn’t sell Magic (cant afford him atm anyway) so will just settle meantime for lessons, keep improving Loki

Wanda  and poor Banner :GroupHug:

    Hobo :GroupHug:

Lessons still on Magic, flatwork and jumping twice per week. Going good, some of the jumps were raised 1 hole today, we all noticed it but its better if noone mentions it :laughingsmiley:

Couple of things to work on, Magic has been cantering disunited a few times in the lesson which feels really odd and also sometimes he does a flying change over the jump but more often than not we have to come back to trot after the jump. How do I get the right canter lead after the jump?

  4. CP hope Milo is back to his normal self and its nothing to fret about and hope Fern is ok too :)

Pony is gorgeous and lovely long mane and tail

Clare glad Loki is a bit brighter and its been nothing too serious :)

I’d love a 9yo 15.1hh Hanoverian boy, must go check lottery ticket.

Good boy Blue, glad you had good lesson :)

We had flatwork lesson on Monday and jumping lesson today, don’t tell anyone but I think im starting to prefer the jumping lessons :ohno02:

Anyway heres a short video of Magic and I jumping today, ignore the running commentary (as you can hear I need to sit back and quit tipping forward) and the rather shaky hand of the young fella from the yard who was in charge of the camcorder :laughingsmiley: hopefully get a steadier videos next week.

    Jumping

This was our second time round the course, clear round first time but two down the second. Will upload other videos tomorrow.

  5. God its ages since ive posted.

Lessons going grand, on Magic all the time now but instructor mentioned today about letting me ride another horse for a change (told her no need as im fine)

Eight of us hacked out last week, Magic hasn’t been out hacking yet so was on Jacob who is steady on the roads. God some drivers just don’t slow down at all

This week we’ve been jumping a small course of 6 jumps (not sure of height, maybe 30-40cms), was really good fun. Hopefully going to video it next week.

Magic has been a monkey this week and jumped out of his field a few times into a neighbouring farmers land, here he is where he shouldn’t be looking an angel

K9Fran & Grace, how exciting, envious (a lot).

Clare hope you get to the bottom of Lokis mysterious problems soon poor boy and poor you, so worrying :GroupHug:

CP 3ft yikes but good for you, doubt i'll ever get there.

Gooster Blue just knows who his mum is and loves ya

    Hows Bumble doing?

Edited to say Gooster cant wait to see your video, glad lessons are going good.

And glad to hear Bumble is doing so well, look forward to seeing piccies of your friends new horse.

  6. Ohhhh dont even start me, I so need to win the lottery

As I said in my original post about owning him being a dream, I just cant do it while I have the dogs as they cost me a fortune and will cost me more over the next few months :(

I'll just keep going with lessons though I am scarily attached to him and hate leaving him once ive put him back in the field

  7. Clare I hope this week passes quickly for you, I know how you feel atm, Kyla is getting blood tested every two weeks for her kidneys and in between times is a nightmare

Give Loki a :GroupHug: from me and one for you too :GroupHug:

Well done Milo and CP, cant wait to see the piccies.

Edited to say posted at the same time, he looks great

Good to hear Bumble is feeling lively

Gooster glad you had a good lesson, he sounds like a smashing pony

Lessons over the last week or so have been on Magic  today we were jumping over a small crosspole which was fun, we then went on to jump up onto the mound, down again and over jump. Got a few piccies so shall post them when my friend gets them on Facebook.
