I always think my animals are younger than they are and am hugely shocked occasionally when I find an old bit of paperwork to show differently.

 

I always said Poppy our horse was about 14 till I found the original letter she came with and sat and worked out from her lovely story in the letter that I had lost about 3 years.

I never think of birthdays for them it is just a huge blank how long I have had everything except the dogs.

 

Somethings I still don't know, I moved here 10 years ago with our shetland but can't remember when I bought her I would have to sit for ages trying to remember what year my daughter was in at school to even get close.

Crikey, can't believe it. Hope hobbes is ok, I would go and see the vet anyway in case he needs a course of antibiotics and he can have his neck clipped too so you can see wot is wot and keep it clean
