    The poor lady who found them and is now caring for the Afghan is beside her self and so angry that nothing is really being done.These Afghans were well bred dogs and had been shown. She has been contacting their known breeders and has been in turn contacted by others.

    It is worrying that the person still owns 2 German Spitz (in good condition) and that 2 horses were left in her care as not emaciated enough on the RSPCA chart of 1 to 5 to remove. The ones removed scored 1 and 1 1/2 on the scale.

    Just been reading a story on another forum about a lady who took in a "stray" Afghan. It was matted and under weight. She discovered who had owned the dog and that they owned 3 others. Concerned for their welfare she investigated further. To cut a long story short she eventually found the bodies of 3 dogs in bin liners in bushes. Horses owned by same person found to be in bad state too.

    It took a lot of action/shouting by this lady who also involved the WHW to get the horses looked at, 2 were removed eventually by the RSPCA. They have told her they can take no further action on the dogs as their internal organs were too decomposed to give any evidence of neglect etc.

    This story really shocked me, as did the lack of action.

    Me again. Just to double check..Lot 167 said p&p paid but on list it is down as no. Which is correct? (not bothered either way just want to clarify)

    My cheque may be a couple of days arriving cos I appear to have mislaid my cheque book (doh) so will round up the total to make up for the inconvenience.
