  1. Glad Harry is doing well. We'll always be here to support you when times are tough. Only stay away if it's better for you to do that. :GroupHug:

Thank you. I will tell when I can. This forum has always been supportive. :GroupHug:

  2. Yes it is. Your punishment is to waffle on here every day for the next fortnight. Doing well now thanks and back at work. Groan. Hope things are going better for you. :GroupHug:

Amy I'm not sure what to put either. Maybe have a nosey at other websites and see the type of things they have put.

I can do that. Things are not good here really that is why I stopped. I just seemed to post misery so thought I would keep it to myself. Harry is doing brilliant though he is a royal pain in the backside.

  3. Harry's such a cutie

But then again I would say that cos I have his half sister, Tia

Hopefully I'll get my son to help me post some pictures of Tia over the weekend (cos I'm a bit fick)

Can't wait to see these pictures. xx

  4. I just had to be brave and come and say hi. It's been so long since I've been on. I fell so deep into a black hole it was nasty and I am just about on the way out of it. Drs have been brilliant and helped me so much that I am almost ready to start fighting to live again. Harry has been brilliant and kept me going. He is rather naughty but his funny ways win him through every time. I even missed coming on for his 2nd birthday but he enjoyed himself and had a special cake made for him. I will now promise to come on everyday to share the sadness and happy news that I have missed while I have been absent. :GroupHug:

  5. Did wonder where you were, and how that handsom boy of yours is :)

You mean that sweet little loving funny boy Harry? He has to be the most stubborn, naughtiest, demanding little hooligan going. He doesn't like other dogs, he will not learn recall, he barks for england, birds are not allowed to fly over, grass cannot be blown by the wind, flowers do not need heads on. Shall I go on? After all his quirks he is the best thing since sliced bread and we do love him.

  6. Thursday Harry was sick 5 or 6 times and it was just frothy/bile. Yesterday he started with a cough. At first I thought he had something in his throat but then he started with a real hacking sound that sounds more like a cough. It is not all the time, we do get periods when there is nothing but then out it comes, as if he is going to be sick and finishes with the cough. We gave him some honey in water yesterday and he has drunk some today. What I need to know is, is it kennel cough, does he need to see the vet, does the vet need to know as he was in last week for a check up on his castration, if it is, obviously he can't go for a walk but for how long. Sorry for all the questions but have never had this happen to any of my dogs and it's quite distressing to see them cough like that. Thank you. :flowers:

  7. I forgot to say yesterday an hour after his op the nurse was hoovering. Harry was chasing it in the crate barking at it. He should have been asleep and resting. Also for the first time ever taking a dog to the vets they phoned today to see how he was. He goes tomorrow for a post op checkup. I nearly blubbed.

  8. Harry loves cuddly toys. They don't always last long and he doesn't mind if they squeek or not. But. He cries pitifully, wether it is in his mouth or just by looking at it. He also does it with his blankets, sitting with a piece of it in his mouth crying. Any idea why please? :flowers:
