It's even worse for boys wanting their first car... we put Nick on our Insurance for the first couple of years that made it affordable and they can build up some no claims as a named driver you have to be the owner of the car though just make sure you tell them that the young named driver is the primary driver of that car. Once they get over aged 21 with at least 2 years driving behind them then they can switch to their own and it's more reasonable.
Thanks will have a look at that

My oldest girl has her driving test soon. so loked for a cheep car for her. found a nice Micra then looked at insurance price went from £1500 to £7000
The car was only £500.
Think this may be a good way to cut down on cars on the road

Good morning

Am astounded - someone at work adopted a dog from a local, and very large rescue on Monday. It was just 'have a walk round, choose your dog, pay your money, take your dog' apparently. Dog is not neutered (and I know lots of rescues don't have the funds to neuter), but nor did they have to sign anything to say they would neuter him. They just had to answer a question about how they 'felt' about neutering
I think I know the rescue.
Are you getting your new cat from Bryson's?
What a sad time it is on the Refuge

Why did I look at the poundies Paddy May have to check if I can get rescue back up. I do not have a foster and have a collie size space in the house.

:ohmy:Thats my new business venture what I am putting to the Jobcentre today to see if I can get funding. You mindreading It will be looking after peoples' pets in their own home while they are at work - a dog-wee-break-provider I am absolutely bricking it - appointment is at 4pm. In theory it should work - I've had a couple of people look through the business proposition and business plan, it all looks OK, and the huge bonus being I can work as much or as little as I'm comfortable with.
RMF - Neighbour has put a green tarp on her washing line. Scooby has decided it is a big scary alien and must be screamed at until it goes away.
Hope they can help when I started dog walking last year I got help from Inbiz and was able to get benifit for 6 months test trading
