  1. The Oldies Club stall had a good weekend away but only managed to raise £95 :mecry:.

Big thanks to Sue and Guinness, Angela and foxy Sox who helped on the stand over the weekend. Also big sorry to Sue for whacking you on the head whilst falling off a chair trying to put the poles back in the roof of the gazebo:D I will admit that the event was very badly advertised this year as the Council had taken the reigns and just sat back and did not much really . We all took a beating from the wind though, well lets say our gazebos did and will need a little tlc to bring them back to their former glory.

It was lovely to see people again - especially the Dogstar crew with Mark, Wendy, Mary, Kelly and not forgetting the laid back Noah, the lovely Wiggle and the "I've got lots to say" Sophie

Amy - I STILL HAVE THEM BLINKIN BANNERS IN MY CAR - are there any transport runs etc that I can offload them on? Really would like them on their way as they've been in there since March/April

    Take care all

  2. not last time I checked but I will have a look again

Its changed this year as the council are managing the admin/registration and not the Parks Trust , we had a letter from them in December and they wanted our paperwork back by January ( much earlier than the Parks Trust )

As an aside I am really looking forward to seeing Bob again ninja.gif

I was called by the council yesterday and they have sent me the forms now, Bob unfortunately has been made redundant, he was contracted to the council by TVP but he did say he might put in an appearancerolleyes.gif

Just waiting for a pdf of The Oldies Club public liability certificate then I can submit the paperwork. In the meantime they have put us down and we are next to you againtongue.gif you can't get away from me that easily Mrs Squirrelwink.gif

Hope all is well and see you soon.

  3. I'm pretty sure all the ones I had printed have the charity number on it. They also have a small "printed by *** on whatever machine" etc as this was necessary to get them done free of charge, which I think is a very small price to paybiggrin.gif I will get them out of my car lunchtime and count up how many I have, there are two designs like the ones I got printed before (back in 2007/8). Then they can either go as single ones or in pairs. I will keep two for the stand at the Doggie Do in Julycool.gif

  8. I get Aciclovir (Sp?) which is the same drug as Zovirax cream but in tablet form, if they keep reoccuring then the doc might suggest a course of these to help you along a bit. Gone are the days now when you go to the docs with the biggest coldsore in the west and they look at you and say "it will go away on its own", now they have drugs it's great and they go much, much quicker and take away the pain too. Same drug, but larger doseage is used for shingles/chicken pox in adults too.
