  1. What do you play?

I'm totally addicted to Treasure Madness.

I also play Farmville, Zoo World, and sometimes Fairyland and Petville.

I have way too much time on my hands laugh.gif

(If anyone wants to add me as neighbour/team mate, you'll find me on The Refuge page)

me too, arrgghhh cant stop playing it, I LOVE it!

  2. For a cheap meal you can buy bag of potatoes, carrots..I buy all own brand, own brand either stewed steak or corned beef and an onion..makes a HUGE pan of corned beef hash or something, I usually use what we need and freeze the rest., just one idea...its yum too, or another one is a couple of own brand bags of frozen mushy peas, own brand carrots again, onion and own brand gammon rounds, cube it and bung it all in together ... pea and ham soup, yum ! again you will get a BIG pan out of all that. Intead of adding just water I usually make a really weak gravy or a stock cube to make it tatier biggrin.gif

  3. Vinnie Jones is really getting on my nerves now. He's a bully and I wish the other house mates would just tell him to mad.png off. Dane is just his lap dog and should do one too.

Ivana's the best, when she was singing that song about her dog I felt like I had a kindered spirit. It's always reassuring to know that I'm not the only crank in the world that makes up stupid songs for my pets! laughingsmiley.gif

hear, hear!! Gawd he thinks he is something special doesnt he, I do like him but get a grip mate!!! but saying that, I think the housemates encourage it and allow him to be that way wacko.gif

  4. Brilliant!

I thought Vinnie was excellent as the compère.

    I like Sisqo.

I like Stephen when he isn't acting as Gods messenger.

me too, was made up when I saw he was going in, he is acting SOOOO different! wacko.gif

Did anyone else notice how hooge Ivana's ears are?!

I like Sisqo, Vinnie, Heidi and Nicola.

I must say Stephen's summing up of Dane cracked me up....something along the lines of apart from Dane being able to cut a cucumber beautifully and fry a salmon equally well, what else is he good for laugh.gif

And Stephanie's "me feelin' it", "sick, dope" moment in the diary room was cringeworthy and funny in equal measure.

thank the Lord it wasnt just me, her lobes stretched more or less to her jaw line!! ohmy.gif laugh.gif

  5. I never get tired of watching Usual Suspects, fantastic film, have you seen the t-shirts on Last Exit to Nowhere site ? they have a Usual Suspects t-shirt.....very tempted to get one, but I just bought a Nostromo ( ship in Alien ) one so I shall control my urge for a while.

Vinnie Jones is coming over quite well...which is surprising.

me either, the twist at the end is AMAZING, although once you know its a bit rubbish! laugh.gif laugh.gif ooh no will look at those t shirts now, cheers!

Stephen Baldwin is actually bugging the hell out of me, preaching, now he wasnt at all like that in the jungle but has been a Chrisitan for 8 years so what is going on now, dont get me wrong Im a believer BUT he is going on tooooo much! and did anyone hear him say about his daughter? if someone was holding a knife to her..I think?wacko.gif and said "say the Lord doesn't exist" and she asked him what to say, he said "say what I teach you" " the Lord DOES exist" and he would see her in Heaven! sorry but NO!!!!!!! I would kiss the Devils arse for my childs life sorry but I would!!

  6. I always buy charity cards, but non-charity ones are usually much cheaper, so as with everything surely it is down to personal choice and finances.

I agree Brenda, unfortunately I do find charity cards are FAR more expensive. I have had a mixture of charity cards this year.

  7. I had no idea that Angela was this poorly. sad01_anim.gif Sending all the positive thoughts and wishes that she does start to respond to the treatment. Group_Hug_Emoticon.gif Group_Hug_Emoticon.gif A very special lady who deserves some of that 'love' back, tenfold! wub.gif wub.gif

couldnt agree more Group_Hug_Emoticon.gif sending lots of love and positive thoughts Group_Hug_Emoticon.gif

  8. A year ago today, well about twenty minutes ago to be exact the vet came to send you to sleep for the last time. I cant explain in words the sadness I feel that you are gone. You were the most beautiful and gentle soul, everyone who met you loved you, even people scared of dogs loved you. So precious and beautiful and loyal, a beauty inside and out.

I cant believe you are gone even now..a year? how did that happen? feels like you were just with me on our fianl walk around the lake, smiling and tail wagging even though you were suffering now, what a happy girl you were, you brought so much pleasure and joy to all of us. Feels not long since we rescued from that awful man who tied you up alone ALL day and night, that was 11 years ago now..how did that go by so fast, I had you and then you were gone.. :( :(

I love you Tasha and cant describe how much I miss you EVERYDAY... not a sighthound but she was one of a kind and Im sure you all would have fallen for her like everyone did who met her.

    A PLACE IN OUR HEARTS

    They will not go quietly,

the dogs who've shared our lives.

In subtle ways they let us know

    their spirit still survives.

Old habits still make us think

we hear a barking at the door.

Or step back when we drop

a tasty morsel on the floor.

Our feet still go around the place

the food dish used to be.

And, sometime, coming home at night,

    we miss them terribly.

And although time may bring new friends

and a new food dish to fill,

That one place in our hearts

    belongs to them...

    and always will.

  9. I'm not saying that Joe is not a nice lad with a good voice but that's about his lot. He has the personality of a dead fish, I wanted to tell him to stop being so damn wet! He'll be yet another one hit wonder and probably have a good career in musicals.

Olly, well his voice is not the best but he is a performer, he will probably make it anyway.

Think it's for the best that Stacey did not win, could anyone put up with her total battiness for very long? Still think she will do ok though.

I think any one of the last 3 could have won and I'd have been ok with it as they were all talented.I think Olly edged it for me with his more rounded entertainment style though.I did think Joe would win because he seemed the popular choice. But he does seem quite bland to me.

Agreed 100% on the above! Joe without a doubt has a good voice but how predictable..ballads etc mainly every week and hardly a dance move in him..no umph! Olly is a pleasure to watch and makes me smile everytime..mecry.gifGUTTED!!! BOOOOOOOOOOO
