  1. An appeal from Trish

whilst she was walking today it appears her driver's door window has accidentally been broken

If anyone can help find her a Renault Traffic 1100D 94M reg window as without this she can't sleep in the camper, she's coming here for a couple of days but urgently needs the window to continue her Trudge.

Is anyone available to contact the local radio station its Plymouth Sound? and also South Hams radio.

  2. Trish what is your final route and any idea of approx days etc, Ok I know someones going to give me a link to somewhere that I'm to tired to search for right now, sorry :circle:

As you're heading North Devon way it looks like you're by passing the beautiful ivybridge but that doesn't mean to say i'm not coming to meet you, you're lumbered with me there's no escape from selina, Michelle will confirm it :bigtongpul:

  3. If anyone can get in touch with her and let her know to let me know when she's due down here and then we can arrange to meet her locally and collect the van for her while she has a long soak in the bath and have a good night's sleep here and then we can get the van moved for her when she commences the next day, hopefullty Padi's family illness will pass quickly and she'll have her companion back.

Trish you've come so far it's not far left now, you can do it.

  4. If the OC can make it give Helen a ring (details below) and you can have a stall at this fun day, ask to be situated somewhere near the ESSW games area and stand

    sorry it's short notice :flowers:

  5. He's been for a x-ray today, he had to be sedated to have his fungus filled ears cleaned again so we diecided while he was sedated we would check his face by x-ray, no sign of the lump whatsoever, vets are flummoxed as pathology report clearly states squamous cell carcinoma detected, who cares I'm so happy.

Must be all these positive thoughts from everyone, thanks guys.

  6. Well done, Ollie  Stay happy and as healthy as possible please :flowers:

I bought a copy of Dogs Today earlier and opened the featured pages on the Cold Wet Nose Show to see a photo of the lovely Ollie. Have you seen it, Selina? It's in the current copy but I'll happily scan it for you and post it here, if you want.

Thanks I have seen it, managed to squeeze in a mention for the OC to.

He was so poorly that day  , I didn't think he would last the week and then all of a sudden this

  7. Oh Ollie, that's brilliant news :flowers:

Long may you be happy and Gobby!

So pleased for you and your mum

Robbie looks forward to a 'who can be the gobbiest' challenge.

Name the day and place

I doubt we'd ever be able to get another photo as good as the previous gobby robbie one but we'll try, actually perhaps we could organise another Brean Sands walk sometime in September

  8. I think a small minor miracle might have occured, after Ollie had his lump and tooth removed and it was confirmed as squamous cell tumour we had to wait and see if re growth was fast, if so it confirmed that the cells were spreading rapidly and it was a case of watch and wait, within two weeks I could feel re gowth, after another week and a bit I took him back to our vet to confirm the re gowth and to stop me from feeling paranoid, it was confirmed, just by looking she could see it and after a hands on she said yes it was definitely growing back at a fast rate and we agreed that as soon as he started showing pain we would do the kindest thing for him.:(

I started him on selenium for the dementia symptoms he was showing, we didn't know if it was cancer related or not, added fresh banana and flaxseed oil to his diet as they are both cancer fighting, got him a memory foam bed so he was super comfy and watched and waited.

5 weeks later there is no sign of the lump on the side of his nose, it's completely gone to touch and look at it, his coat is glossy again and he has put on a little weight, still no signs of any deteriation, I know it will come but where's the lump gone?

Gobby Ollie because I dared to leave him

I was told that because the cancer was in his tooth root initially he would probably start to get pain when eating, he has never chewed on pigs ears in the year I've had him, they've always been to chewy for him, until this week
