  1. It's obviously been a big op for all of you & will no doubt take time to get used to but I hope he continues to improve & surprise your vet(s) with his progress. Good luck

  2. Not always easy perhaps, particularly with a puppy but I'd agree that a dog wont generally starve themselves. Assuming you don't want them to graze have you tried taking it away if uneaten within a certain time & then just waiting until next meal time?

  3. Well if shes gaining weight, all be it slower than you'd like, the vet is happy that there is no medical problem etc you may just have to wait until she decides she's hungry.

Not sure about the grass / mud thing really, perhaps as a pup she'll grow out of it though you could google pica if need be.

  4. I'm not sure how long you've had her & you may well have already tried / thought of all this but off the top of my head

Is she eating the food Laney is on seperately or stealing it from Laneys dish?

Would she eat more if fed away from Laney, if fed a wet food rather than complete?

Anything that may have caused a loss of appetite (eg recent vaccinations, change in environment) or do you think she's just picky?

  5. puppy food tends to be slightly higher in protein and perhaps calories than the same manufacturers standard food for older dogs but I can't see any reason at all that any decent should cause problems - particularly if the dog is more inclined to eat it than the puppy food

  6. Not sure whether Helen Flanagan or Rylan Clark really are going to be parachuted in as rumoured but a reasonable start so far. Can we believe that Joey from T. O. W.I.E. really can't read a clock at his age or does he just like Amy spending time with him as tutor?

I was surprised they both did so well on the first trial & also that they then got picked again. Much as you might have expected them to be the first pair the fun in putting them up repeatedly usually disappears when they do well on trials. If Helen does go back in she's almost certain to be up immediately I would think.

Is Matthew Wright ill in some way or has he just lost an awful lot of weight since I last saw him?

  7. I'm glad to see the back of Vanessa & James (as I just don't like her at all / on anything, nor James cockiness ), though to be fair I thought Tony had to be the first out & Julien should probably have gone third or fourth rather than be up in week 1 and 2 if it wasn't for the annual comedy effect helping Dave - he certainly isn't a good dancer.

There are already a few decent dancers there though, could get interesting trying to pick a winner later in the series if they all continue to progress well in training.
