Do you know if they still rehome dogs, as i sometimes direct people to them when they contact the RSPCA
-
Does anyone on here know if WAW is still running as a rescue, I have tried to look at their web site but i got directed here.

Happy Gotcha Day Misty

this old gent has been reunited with his now happy owner
sadly it was not the Collie that Karen was searching for
-
any news ? was it him
-
anyone know anything yet - hope its him
-
warrington rspca have just had a very old collie lad handed in (he was a stray) but dont think its the same lad as this one has one eye. He is ancient poor thing.
-
If anyone knows someone who has lost an ancient collie lad, Warrington RSPCA had one handed in
dont know where he was found but think it would be local. He really is an old gent
-
shame on who ever allowed her to get into that state
Look forward to seeing her after your tlc

CLOSE IT
Think people have said what they think & more besides
must admit a lot of it doesnt read well & I might make notes of who to avoid if I dont want to end up in court, my list had already started before this thread
seriously though other links could be started off by the people who want to 'defend' themselves or their rescue.
I wish RDR every success what ever happens (they are great)
& I will continue to post on DP's & browse on here for the sake of the dogs.

I didnt do Staffies until I have just met one & fell in love with him, He's in kennels at the RSPCA in Warrington desperate for a home & such a loving boy. He has defo won my heart.
But I am a pointy fan & would love to own a greyhound. But I did go looking for a GSD & came back with a little black x breed girl, so i do tend to fall for every dog i see

I think it depends on the dog & what the 'full time workers' can offer
I work full time & have 4 dogs, its too far for me to come home at lunch but when hubby was working (he's out of work at the mo) he came home at lunch time. It works out just fine for us.
I had neighbours who had 2 collies they were both not working & I can honestly say I never saw them even walk the dogs
I home check for my local RSPCA & think that each dog is an individual & also each home.
-
Good luck to BOTH rescues I had a lot of respect for the old WAW & admired the work they did
Just to let you know i do actually have a foster dog 'belonging' to WAW just thought you needed to know that.
