Really rude. I've been a member since October but only an occasional poster. Going to be doing more now because I'm working from home and need regular displacement activity to stop me doing what I should be. Good to see some familiar names from Greyhound Gap and Dogs-life and everywhere else.
Anyway. I'm Laura. Living in North Wales but currently on the move back down to Kent/Surrey/Sussex. Wish at this late stage I was a little less vague about that. We're going to be renting for a while - problem is I'm being v fussy over house criteria. Sod everything except a nice big enclosed garden and space for the hounds!!!!
Hounds in question are the beautiful, kind, loving but intensely dim Oz. Aged 15 months. A Lizzies Barn pup who landed almost a year ago now. Can you believe its been so long Jackysian?? In that time I dont think I've taught him much. But I have learned a great deal about dogs. Dont leave anything on the kitchen surface and drinking from the toilet is one of the more hygienic daily pursuits!!
Twigg aged 9 months came along in September. As a Greyhound Gap foster. Can you believe that Lisa from Gap absolutely refused to have her back again? I know! What can you do? Not true at all of course - we failed miserably in about 5 minutes. Twigg is as clever as Oz is challenged. She's a little angel. Won't do anything she doesnt want to of course but I guess that's the Saluki in her.
Life with two young dogs is a bit mad. But it'll get easier with time. Oh God please tell me it will!
