  1. Quite a few bulls kept out with the cows round here as well, although not premanently, just long enough to get the cows 'served'. I'm prettys ure that you can't have a bull loose in a field with a public footpath across it unless there are warning signs (possibly not even at all). Jim would be better looking for a field of heifers or bullocks to work with, they are more predictable and safer, although very nosey, and will circle you if you aren't careful.

generally, you don't see more than one bull out together (they can do serious damage to each other and are very valuable beasts). Bullocks and heifers are often out in herds (round here they are loose on common ground, which can be fun...but the dogs and cattle soon get used to each other and ignore each other).

  2. I found a really good site here which gives sound advice and even advices on the diet and supplements the dog should eb having to slow the disease's progress. I will certainly follow these guidelines next time I have a dog with DM

  3. Yesterday at eggborough, Bishop Burton Brainiacs took second in div 9 having won 4 out of 5 legs, only being beaten by the eventual 1st placed team :)

even better we smashed our seed time by 1.4 secs (from 24.03 down to 22.63) and also recorded our best ever team. A long way off you div 1&2 teasm but we're still chuffed to bits especially as we run with only one BC in the team and my JRT.

  4. Patch has been on foster for me since december nad its time he found a home of his own. He is a typical young parsons; rather full on, can get over excited, but is very sociable with dogs and people. He needs work on his basic obedience. He'd make a fantastic agiltiy or flyball dog. However, he does tend to get over attached and woudl be best in a home with another dog (or two) or with someone who is home all day or who can take him to work with them. 6ft fence eseential. I have no idea what he is like with cats but would guess that he won't be good.

Rough coated dog, netured, vaccinated and chipped. Currently in foster near Hull. Not to be homed with children under 10

  5. Spud (JRT) got enough points for her Flyball Dog award today :) and we shaved nearly 2 seconds off our seed time (however it does make a big different having a beardie in the team instead of 2 jacks LOL) After her 'show' at Carlton where she ran really badly, today Spud has been fabby :)

  6. Thinking of having a go at this and know that we need 4 diff breeds, but do we actually need 6 for a full tema or cna we have say 2 beardies, but only run one at once (if you see what I mean) so that one bearde would swap places with the other so that we still have 4 diff breeds in the team that runs.

Not explainling myself very well, but you get the idea..
