  1. Would love to next time I'm up that way - I've moved to France but I come back once a month to see family and friends so would be great to catch up and meet the beautiful Agnes xx

France? You lucky thing! (well most places are nicer than hertfordshire LOL). Let me know, probably best to catch me on facebook, I am not a very reliable "forum'er" these days.

  2. ooh hello Ann, gorgeous pics. Lovely to see you here again and congrats on baby Agnes.

would you like to do lunch at the c*** o'the north one day to catch up? We live just across the road from there now :flowers:

edit, haha it won't let me write it. Errmm Boy Chicken o' the north then LOL

  3. Hello stranger!

I didn't even know you had had a baby! Many congratulations flowers.gif What breed? laugh.gif

breed? ermm pedigree cutie-pie   she was 9 months friday just gone. Charles and Sally adore her

edited: Martin adores her too, obviously :D

  4. Alex, I would recommend going to see an Osteopath. I used to get loads of problems with my neck and back, my Osteopath was brilliant. Mended me when hospital physios failed.

Going back to corrie. I think it was very well done. I find a lot of time in soaps, the issue of losing a pet isn't really tackled head on, they just fade the animal out of the script.

Going to try and get my hair done today, not had it done for ages and it's getting quite long now!

I've seen an osteopath a few times as well, and can I just say, I might love him a little bit!!! Suffered with head ached half way through the pragnancy, he cured it in one session, and I never even had as much as a sore back for the rest of the pregnancy, until bubs was born! (then i had back ache cos od no stomach muscles and sore bit from c-sectin, but I don't think I can blame him for that).

    ohh and Hi everyone :flowers:

  5. for about 6 months the internet has been abundaned (sp?) with dogs I just HAD TO adopt.... and now that I'm allowed one, I can't find any?! I am waaaaay too impatient for my own good :jumpy:

  6. I am assuming she is crossed with rottweiler, from her colouring and shape of face? We have a male cross like that, he is black/tan with a kisssable rottie face, and a slim, sleek ridgeback body

He is a big lovebug  , will come for kisses and cuddles all the time, and loves sleeping in our arms (under the duvet of course  ). He is loads of fun, and if this little lady is anything like our Charles, i can fully recommend this kind of dog to anyone with a sense of humour and a love of long walks and playtime! :elefant:

  7.

wavey.gif Hello Anne. Was thinking about you the other day. Hope that all is well with you and yours.

    hello back :flowers:

Everything here is ok. Charles is doing well, he sliced his leg open a few weeks back, and had to have 9 staples. Then 2 days ago, Indy caught his ear, and he went all woe and thought he was gonna die of blood loss for sure (it was bleeding a lot!) he does a very good "tragic"

Indy is epileptic, and has now been put on Epiphen, which is messing with her brain. she is like a drunk, drugged up little old lady. Hopefully it will be better once she is used to the drug, the vet said it usually takes 2-4 weeks for things to settle down.

The positive is that she hasn't had a seizure whilst on the drug (2 weeeks on monday), so fingers crossed.

  8. I forgot my dads birthday this year too (jan 14th)... he kindly and very subtly reminded in a conversation a few days later, and I am sure he could feel the shame all the way across the north sea :blush02:

Thankfully dads are very forgiving creatures, and better late than never is my motto!

  9. PS:

Now replaced my CD Drive as old one has been wasting discs for ages.

New one is NEC CD-RW NR-9100A.

Under it's properties it says 'device working properly' but when you click on it it says 'device inaccessible'.

Can anyone advise how to get my Pc to recognise/activate this?

I tried updating driver, existing driver was stated as fine.

(Im buying an external USB drive later on as well)

  10. Hi guys and the genius Pingu

    I hope you can help

I had a virus warning flash up, listing these 3:

    W32/Viruta.a

    Exploit-MS word

    Win32: Delf-XQ

If i remember correctly, it was my AVG warning message

A second box popped up, i 'think' it was a Microsoft security box (or maybe AVG), stopping all these were critical and threaten to take over my whole PC and take all my passwords and bank details.

However, when i clicked the remvoal prompts, it just said awaiting removal and i wa saunalbe to access any otehr websites nor do control/alt/delete.

I even tried to 'x' the orginal warnign box and it kept popping up again, repeating all the above.

My intial thoughts are therefore its a scam, and i dont really have those 3 viruses/trojans.

Naturally, i am still scare ddue to my bank account.

It later all disappeared of own accord.

Since then i have done full scans with AVG, windows defender, and Spybot

    All clear

After googling W32/Viruta.a i disabled system restore, seelcted safe mode for networking, and did the following online scans:

    BitDefender

    Panda ActiveScan

    Symantec (Norton)

McFee freebie wouldnt work for Firefox

    Kaspersky freebie currently unavailable

    TrendMicro Housecall had glitch downloading

Next im going run hijack this and then the full freebie scan for F-Secure (takes hours).

I considered reformatting my hard drive, but there is a snag.

I bought Verbatim CD-R and went to copy all the photos using In-CD programme.

Tried 3 disks, but there was unspecified fault with copying.

    So, 2 questions:

    1. Anyone know how to fix my copying problem or know any online copying tools

These photos dont exist anywhere else and are of our 2 dogs that just died

    2. Do i actually need to reformat. Can i trust that all the scans above are true and that the virus warning were cons and i am safe to do banking etc online?

Please help, i have been up all night working on this.

  11. Years and years ago I used to always be looking at his pictures of Fionas website, I had a real soft spot for your Bertie boy  . When you gave him a home I loved looking at pictures of him having a great life with lots of fun. I am so sorry to hear he is gone, but he couldn't have wanted for a better life! :GroupHug:

  12. I am so sorry about your sad news about both girls :GroupHug:

I knew a mare who had an eye removed. She was a spooky, nervous, sensitive soul, but coped extremely well with just one eye, and was 100% safe to groom and handle from both sides. Just thought I'd give you a bit of hope on that front, at least :flowers:

  13. I can't stand Danyl, he looks arrogant and has a face that is just asking for a punch. I am starting to see the entertainment value in the twins, although I do realize they are a complete joke in a competition like this!

I liked Lucy song very much, and I thought Rachel sung better than she has before, she also looks much friendlier with her new hair.

I love little Joe, but he didn't look all that comfortable with that song. Lloyd was a bit boring for me.

  14. if a dog gets frightened out on a walk, it is important to stay in the same spot until the dog is no longer scared. It can take a while, but it means the dog doesn't "take the fear with them", but leave with a good memory of the place. By letting the dog leave the place, the dog takes the fear with them, and it will take a lot longer to build up good relations to that place again.

Obviously if the dog was off the lead and bolted this is hard, but if she is that scared, now is the time of year for "better safe than sorry" and only doing on lead walking.
