  1. We were at Frimley over the weekend and boy was it hot

But all the dogs ran well division 8 with a total mix of dogs my x-breed Lucyandmegs Springer a goldie and a kelpie :) and a borrowed box loader  we managed to win the division even though we were seaded 4th. We also had a 5th member Blue who descided that full height coupled with fireworks the night before was just too much and descided not to compete :( we as a team tried our best to get him up and back but to no aval :(

Lucy's Murphy (springer spaniel) ran very well and was up for it the hole time.

Lucy my x-breed we had to keep cool as he suffers from the heat but with the new cooling coat i bought him and my oh following us around with a cool bottle of water kept him running :) without that coat he wouldn't have raced.

Pip (goldie) ran well and so did Mazie (kelpie) our start dog :)

  2. Welldone kimbas_mum :flowers:

Well i have a bit of a brag too the Hampshire Holligans came 1st in devision 5 at Maidstone at the weekend it was very close near the end but the team rallied and we won :) Not bad for our team who was made up of a kelpie, spaniel, x breed, a tollar and a collie who has had a double hip replacement :)

The other teams did well too the Hampshire Harriers came 2nd in div 1 and the Hampshire Hounds came 2nd in div 4 :) so a good day was had by all.

  3. Thanks everyone for your wise and kind words :flowers:

The mould is worse around the windows more so in both bedrooms but is also behind units and beds ect even on the cerling (sp) the beds always feel damp and the smell is horrible in the summer i don't have such a bad time but this year where its been so damp its 100 times worse

The walls are only painted so thats one good thing.

The dehumidifier is a good one my dad got it from hes work and was used in the factory so such be big enough. I try to keep my heating on all the time just under 18 but as it has been so cold here has been cutting in and out all the time and its still cold in here.

  4. since August Alex my little boy (aged 11yrs old) has has colds and has woken up in the middle of the night with breathing problems bad enough to call the out of hours doc :( This last week thinks have got worse and he is now suffering with headaches and coughing fits this only seems to happen while in his room :( i live in a two bedroomed housing ass house and have problems with black mould on most walls in the house housing have just said to open windows but my heating costs are through the roof and i just can't afford it. this week so far i have spent £35 (i on card meter) surly this isn't right :mecry: I clean the mould with bleach but after a few days it returns it makes me feel ill after cleaning it so dog know what its doing to Alex. In Alex's room he has a window pane that has blown and the window seal is always full of water the dehumidifiers can't cope with the amount of water and that works out expencive to. Everytime i phone housing i get the same we haven't got the budget but my sons health is getting worse and i just don't know what to do :mecry:

So if anyone can suggest anything that might get rid of the mould or even give housing a good kick up the bottom anything would be appreciated :)

  5. Just to update i do feel alot better today so thanks again everyone for your kind words :flowers:

I have registered with the volunteering website and its just a waiting game know :)

I have walked the dogs and had a great time laughing at some of the silly things they did and that helped alot. Meet some people on the walk that thought i was crazy as was sing to the dogs and not paying any attention to anyone else.

Also made an appointment to see my Gp :(

  6. Thank you everybody for all your kind words :flowers: I have been feeling like this for along time but today it all came to a head i think :(

I would love to work full time but at the moment its just not possible so part time would be great.

I do have a hobby it called Flyball but find it hard to be with people when i feel like this :( My dogs are my Angels and couldn't do things without them.

Lucky didn't put a foot wrong  but was a bit slow as it was quite warm :D

Thanks to the terrorists as if it wasn't for their last staffie weeing in the ring we would have lost the 1st place

  10. Can i remove paint for a wall?

I'm in the process of stripping the wall paper off my living room walls and some of the paint underneath has pealed of with it but some hasn't i would love to be able to just paint the walls as the wall paper gets so muddy and dirty with the dogs.

The other problem is when we tried painting the walls before the paper went up the paint after a few days started to bubble and peel off the walls thats why we decided to wall paper but didn't have the three dogs then.

Sooooo is their anything i can do to get the rest of the paint of the wall or do i have to wall paper the whole room again :)

Please help as OH is driving me mad as he wants to use paint stripper

just one more thing once the walls are back to plaster do i need to reseal the walls with emalsion and pva glue before putting colour on the walls

    thanks :flowers:

Bought one dog a coat yesterday and the other looked :( so have bought another one as i didn't like her little sad face and would hate to think i made her feel sad.

My parents think i'm totally mad and say i think more of my dogs than my son. I even talk about them in my sleep and once patted OH on his head and said good boy

i love my dogs more than life it self and would do anything for then :)
