Walking my dogs on a deserted beach in Northumberland
Cuddling with my grandchildren
Watching the sea
Eating banoffee pie, which happens to be defrosting as I type.

Cup of tea when I get up, then porridge with honey and a large mug of coffee. Then I can just about start the day

I am 50 and for the last 7 months have been on HRT, it really has made me normal again.
For a couple of years before I was irregular and could blow my stack for no reason at all.
Then the night sweats began and the day flushes which would soak me through I felt tired all the time.
Had the test to see if I was menopausal and surprise surprise I was, so I went on to HRT and within 3 weeks all symptons had disappeared.

Hoping everything going OK with Akita and she will be lumpless and back home with you soon.
Sasha my Akita x had a lump removed from her shoulder just before Xmas - she sulked for days after.

I couldn't be bothered watching it last night. It's losing it's appeal for me.
I watched, but agree it is losing it's appeal.
I still think it would be heaps better without Brucie, never have liked him.

Well done to them all.
I work in a HE/FE college, just come home today - most of our lot were very happy.
We are going to be very busy over the next few days with them enrolling on their chosen courses. Bless 'em

Welcome to the world of Grandmothering.
Its so easy compared to motherhood.
Yep it is so easy, and boy can you scare the parents with a few chosen words payback time for all the sleepness nights they caused you when still living at home.
I love been a nana, sure you will too. Many congratulations

I am making fewer trips in the car. My day off today, car stayed on the drive usually I would have jumped in it and gone shopping to Manchester or such like.
I had 3 home visits to do last weekend, normally I would have rung them up and possible made 3 separate visits to fit in with the people but this time I said that I could come on Sunday morning only. It worked and only did half the miles.
Food shopping is getting very expensive and I can't even think about next winters heating bills

just finished The Kite Runner which was so fantastic I read it in 24 hours , also this trip have read Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picolt which again I could not put down
By the same author, Hosseini, as Kite Runner is 'A thousand splendid suns' I enjoyed this even more than Kite runner.
My page turner at the moment is Martina Cole - Ladykiller.
