  1. Ran into Simon and Bracken in Ramsey and took the dogs out on to the beach - they had so so so much fun and Tarn initiated loads of play with Bracken. It was wonderful to see - Tarn doesn't really do 'play' with anyone other than Dylan. Have spent the past 1.5 hours with M taking the starter out of my car - a total b*stard of a job out of a Clio - couldn't be more awkward. Starter is definitely deaded so off to get a new one tomorrow.
  2. *ahem...is this thing on* I'd just like to say that in light of the posts made by my OH whilst I was on holiday, M's views are M's views and my views are my views. Because we are married does not mean we think, believe, or feel the same things. Thanks.
  3. Ray - She'll be OK, chuck. Lots to do on re: Refuge Dog Show and Auction...must get organised.
  4. No Anne - he won't. And the dogs all live together and rotate time in the house, etc. with all the cats and kids. So he would be fine with Walter. I loves him. Lots. Hope you are well, my friend. Hope Danny is OK, Julia.
  5. Baby Faith - Puppy I fell in love with in Cyprus, up for rehoming. Found by Y-Me Rescue wandering the streets after having been kicked by horrible humans, leaving him with a massive hernie on his stomach. Now operated on, microchipped and neutered and waiting for the right home. Would take me 6 months to get him here, I don't want a puppy, but me loves him.
  6. I think I need to take a pair or two out. I have bought all my toiletries already so I don't really want to buy again. Doh, stupid airlines. You'd think they would up the baggage if you can't carry as much with you on board. Off to re-jig. Have a great time, Di.
  7. I'm on hols til next Monday - heading to Cyprus with the girls. FIghting with baggage - having to pack my toiletries in my case is not fun. I think I have to take out a pair of shoes - I have 7 for a week. Have fun at shows everyone.
  8. Has Moo had too much chinese? Wok out how... Sorry CLaire - Bwahhhhhhhhh I'm going on holiday tomorrow. Which reminds me = Di have a fantastic time in Luxor... please give big hugs and kisses and thank you thank yous to Hussein, very friendly hello's to Heisham and a punch on the arm to the other bloody . Hope you have a fab-o time. I do adore Luxor and the Sheraton.
  9. That is terrifying - I'm petrified of torture. I have had a shyte day. Total mix up over money with M and I on hols starting tomorrow with very little money until Tuesday. Then went into car and try to come home but my car is dead. Totally dead - starter has gone we think. Have just got back from towing it home - along the promenade like a coolio. Starter alone (just for the part) is £100 - my car is only worth £300. Wonder if I'll be looking for a new car when I get home from hols.
  10. I coughed and spluttered and then giggled, which was good because I had been crying over sadness over Baby and then crying with joy of Melp and Trev's news. Now you made me laugh.
  11. Anne - thinking of you chuck. Just found out about Baby. Absolutely and totally gutted. My Tarn has really let me down tonight and I'm sick of coping with totally reactive out of controlish dogs. Dyl is now fine, now it's Tarn's turn.
  12. Dammit, Anne stole my joke by the time I read through. Local shop for local people and all that.... Congrats. Sooooo excited for Anne and Martin. Finally!
  13. Ray - Cheers for that link, I've just booked tickets for Krakow for February!
  14. Can someone please post me the link to the Holey Shoes site...it's at work and Katie wants to order some this weekend. Cheers chucks.
  15. Eery night - very still, very low cloud cover, fog yet sun shining through in places. In the middle of the farmer's big field, Dylan came and sat beside me. This is not typical Dylan behaviour - normally he is running like a mad thing and checking out hedges. We sat there for ages contemplating the world. Beautiful.
  16. Lovely pics Alex. Your house looks so warm and inviting. I am a bit hungover. Drank too much red wine. Christened the chimnea last night and M and I spent all last night sitting around it and chatting - I can't remember the last time we did something like that. It was really nice. Dylan was wearing his old man sweater so he could sit outside, but was not impressed by the fact he was only given a blanket to lay on so went inside in a huff.
  17. Um, it depends on the hurt. If it is serious serious hurt like what we saw in Egypt, I do not go laughing hysterics at all - more like 'oh my god, holy s***, holy s***, holy s***, holy s***' hysterics, but if it is minor injuries I get into laughing hysterics big time. Example - San posted pics of her scratched face. I burst out laughing (I'm really sorry, I'm being honest) and then Anne posted a lovely post and I felt guilty for laughing. Stuff like that .... see, I'm odd. I'm not laughing at the individual but at the circumstances surrouding i???....I think. I'm not mean, I think it's more nervous laughter. Oh I'm going to bed before my brain explodes. NN Fugees. Profound quote Di. Makes for a lot of thinking.
  18. I think I am odd. Well, I know I am odd. Why do I go into hysterics whenever someone gets hurt, especially if I see it?
