  5. I'd suggest that initially she calls Wiccaweys (07905 203254) for advice The wrong behaviourist could well make things worse
  6. Congratulations! Have a great day & a lovely honeymoon too
  7. Well I couldn't think of a better reason to cancel several other homechecks Lucky Cyber/Charlie Squirrel....... He's looking a lot happier now than when I 1st met him, fresh from the vets still, still drooling but even then very sweet, friendly and busy investigating Wishing you lots of happy times together
  8. Bit cheeky Al, but any chance of a few items for the Wiccaweys show in September if you have things going spare????
  9. Run free Cassie. I'm sure she will be forever grateful to you for all your tlc. Huge admiration to all of you Oldies Club fosterers, especially those providing end of life care for foster dogs that prove not to be rehomeable. It's tough emotionally and can be so very tiring dealing with the problems associated with age & illness. Well done to you all
  10. So sorry Cindy You only had to meet Snatch to fall in love with him and I was lucky enough to get to say hello on a few occasions. Actually thinking more on that you didn't even need to meet him. I'm sure reading about him was enough for many members of his fan club. That's really quite something! Snatch is indeed a legend and, as others have said, simply the best as an ambassador for oldies and for staffies. Run free Super Snatch.
  11. My views on this man are not printable here but feel free to PM me Morag.
  12. I did the homecheck and have everything crossed for both Jack & his potential adopter today I will be watching this space!
  13. Rory is very handsome. Maybe just as well he can't see in the mirror or he might get too vain
  14. Hi Shazzy I work for a hospice at home service in the Herts/Bucks area. Is there an equivalent in yours to which your FIL could be referred? If you don't know I could find out for you. This might give you the opportunity to talk to people who have plenty of experience of families in circumstances like yours. Whatever your/FIL's decision on treatment, at some point he is likely to require palliative care and pain relief. Your FIL may not want to know what lies in store but I imagine it would be helpful for you to understand the likely course of events. Sorry you are having such an awful time Liz
  15. Sorry to hear you had a crash. Hope it wasn't coming to/from the homecheck you did for us. If it was me I would be taking arnica pills several times a day and trying my hardest to take as few painkillers as possible.
  16. Stay away with your clippers Sarah. Once shaved she would look like one of your Pekes
  17. Heva - I have just e-mailed you about a homecheck, then I read this!
  18. Thank you Avril. I have PM'd you
  19. If you are willing to homecheck for other rescues too then I'd be delighted to add you to my volunteers list. I coordinate homechecks for Wiccaweys Border Collie rescue. Sheffield/Rotherham is an area I have struggled with in the past. I homecheck for Oldies Club too so I hope nobody minds me pouncing on this thread. Liz
  20. Um yes, if you want a No1 cut all over with random clumps as an added extra then Sarah's your woman Every cut guaranteed as a unique style - very leading edge!!!!
  21. So sorry Wendy Your love for Bumpy has always shone through in your posts about him
