  10. Samantha is back over in Sri Lanka again, and its been an eventfull few days. You would think it so simple, hop on a plane, travel to MEF, run a clinic on the 18th, but no its not? Samantha lost her purse, cue much too'ing and fro'ing as everyone mucked in to try to find it. No joy so many many phone calls later and all cards cancelled with the promise of getting new ones out asap. (didnt arrive in the post today tho). Of course these are coming to our home address so then they have to be gotten over to her in Sri Lanka. Fortunatly I can get a back up card over to her with a volunteer vet who I am sending off on Monday night from heathrow airport. This has involved moving bits around to make it available, she has to have the money ready as its all got to pay for the clinic. In the middle of all this, last week we ordered some surgical equipment for the vet again to take over. Every other order we have made arrives within about 3 days, has this one, NO. Its still not arrived, and has to be here monday or its not going to be able to get over there. Our vet bless them phoned the supplier who owned up to sending it out second class post, which when you consider how much we have spent on it is a real mickey take. Dexter has given them a bit of a telling off! In addition knowing the volunteer vet will be flying out Monday night, sam ordered some printer cartridges. She need to print all the paper off for the clinic records, she has no money or cards with her so ordered on the web via paypal. To be delivered to me, to be passed to the vet, to be delivered to her, well bugger me paypal picked it up as a suspicious transaction and have restricted the account ! Together with a number of other problems/issues over there at the moment it beens quite a stress for her. So I am sending her big big hugs and if any of you fancy ding the same in this thread it might give her a bit of a cheer when she reads them. It really aint so easy all this at times. BIG BIG hugs hon XXXXX

  21. Dogstar are proud to present these brilliant dog tags!, so get your pet all logo'd up and raise money for Dogstar at the same time. The pictures (despite our best efforts) do not do justice to these little gems. They cost £5 each with £1.50 Postage and Packing per order. They are double sided, with a Dogstar logo one side and your pets details on the other. The lettering can be done in red, blue or black and it shows a phone number, address and your pets name or your surname as you prefer. The lettering and logo are plastic coated so the detail will not wear off and the tags are approx 27mm wide. (shown next to a 2p coin in the picture). The particular style dogstar logo will vary due to whats available when you do your order. To order these you need to email [email protected] with the following information: Your name, your address, your email address and your refuge name. Then the details for the tags: Colour of the text on the tag (red/blue/black), address on the tag, animals name on the tag (or your surname), phone number on the tag. (I need all the details in order to process your order) You can pay by paypal, [email protected] (please if you do can you cover the paypal fees). You can pay by bank transfer to Dogstar Foundation, Sort Code 08-92-99, Account Number 65331523. You can also pay by cheque or postal order made payable to Dogstar Foundation (message or email me for the address). Please make sure you email me to confirm payment :-) Please allow 7 to 14 days for delivery.
