Lol....I have had the odd mishap eve but today's products are great,  have a good guide colour and you can wash them off after an hour if you want a light colour. I usually use sunkissed rapid tan but they changed it so I am on st moritz fast tan at the Moment, smells lovely... not fake tan stinky at all, it's on offer at 3.99 at boots at the moment

Have you ever tried the tanning booth, Griff? where they turn you round like a spit roast?

Philip just came back from walking Candy and said he'd been round the field and was coming back down the jitty and met this group of late teen/early twenties standing near the end in clouds of very aromatic smoke.  He said they were very chatty and complimented him on the fact his sunglasses matched his t shirt.  I said never mind that, didn't you ask them where they got the stuff from?😏

I am staying with the Siamese cat look. Brown face and paws, pale everywhere else.

Morning Owl and everyone else.

I woke up to some really heavy rain. It's eased off now but it's not going to be a good day I don't think.

Ruby and I can start going out in September but we have to keep clear of people and not go into our town centre as some of the staff at the hospital have been through here and were shocked at the crowds & lack of social distancing and poor take up of mask wearing.

Yantan, I must admit I am surprised by some people's behaviour and actually... it's the younger age group that's the issue. I got the bus yesterday and a group got on, 5 of them, there were two admittedly who had mental issues so would be excused but the other 3, well they were just slobs and disgusting, hearing one of them saying that they were going round so and SO's as he wants to annoy his neighbours....but he went on to say that his neighbours won't say anything when he has "guests" I suspect that they don't actually say anything ever and he just wants to cause issues... tramp

24C in garden, hot wind blowing a gale, feels weird.  Wispa had a long walk and a swim yesterday so not worried about going out today, which is good as I find it hard going to drive van in this wind.

I have been out for lunch at my friend's. She wanted to show off her new  kitchen/diner  and sun room extension. It  is very nice.  It was started  in February  but stalled due to lockdown so has been a long haul, but worth it for the end product.

It started off dull here but turned out sunny and hot so we were  able to sit in the garden.

Since  I came home the black clouds have arrived- very black clouds but is still dry.

I went  shopping this morning and Tesco was very quiet. there were no queues to get in or at the checkouts.

A lot of tourists must have headed home   last week- Scottish schools started last Wednesday - as our road has been much quieter this week.. There are still many camper vans in the camp sites and on the main road though.

Got a  couple   of viewers tomorrow. One os a second viewing.

Oooh, everything crossed for you Blackmagic. Hope you get a sale. A 2nd viewing sounds optimistic. But it can be strange selling up here with notes of interest etc. We were lucky in that no one else wanted the place we bought, needed a lot doing to it and had been for sale for ages, so we could go in way under the home buyers report.

Glad you had a good shopping trip Jazz. No dog I've ever had has liked the deer antlers. Lazy chewers I guess but at least the antlers last for years lol.

Hope you can find some nice places to get out to Yantan when your isolation has finished. If all else fails come up to Dunoon as the hordes of tourists seem to have forgotten about us and the locals are sticking to the rules lol.

Well, that's it.... roadtrip to Dunoon!! Eve said it's o.k lol

Had my second call from the hospital...sigh, my medical team is growing... again! I have gained 2 consultants in a week..yay me!! I now have a dermatologist, Neurologist, rheumatologist, ENT, chest consultant, heart specialist,  Colo rectal surgeon and now a nephrologist...think I got them all, getting a teensy bit bored with it now
