sproggie14
You may have read that Meggie Moo has lung cancer. Recently she has been coughing quite a bit. Initially the vet gave us some antibiotics in case an infection was making things worse but these didn't help. So last night she had a steroid injection. This has perked her up quite a bit and she seems to be coughing less but we have noticed her panting and breathing heavily for the last few days. This seems to be particularly at night. She gets very unsettled, stomps around, pants a lot and seems a bit distressed I will be talking to the vet again tomorrow but I wondered if anyone could recommend anything alternative to help with breathing problems. Am I right in thinking that homoeopathy shouldn't be used in conjunction with corticosteroids (presumably something to do with the affect they have on the immune system)? border collie
Is it drier in your house at night with the heating on etc? You might have to alter the humidity to make her more comfortable Edited April 11, 2006 by border collie
