blackmagic Posted February 9, 2022 Report Share Posted February 9, 2022 It didn't last despite the forecast. An hour later the sun was shining again but there is a cold wind. My son and fiance are back home in Romania. Dana tested negative for two days on Sunday so they flew hime on Monday.They were able to fly to home as Romania had changed the rules on 1st February so, if vaccinated, you didn't need to do a PCR test. With Dana having just had COVID it is advised not to have a PCR test as it can pick up dead cells for up to 90 days . Gavin felt as if he was coming down with something but LFTs were always negative. However he went for a PCR test yesterday and it has come positive. He still just feels as if he is coming down with something , so not really ill. While things are cheap tbut wages are low so there is a lot of poverty, particularly in the east where there the Roma people live. Their living conditions are bad and they suffer racial discrimination. Social aid is misappropriated, There is corruption. EU money has gone into private bank accounts instead of being used for the purpose it was given for- including animal welfare. They were under the communists until 1989.
