July's Jubilation

Sun and showers here today. Got the dogs out in a dry spell. Mostly a quiet day here. We binge watched Sons of Anarchy till half 4 this morning 🥴 Not my usual kind of programme and not how I usually watch TV (normally got no interest in it) but somehow got sucked in and watched it for hours lol. Needless to say I've been zombified most of the day and will have an early night tonight!

This is what I meant to say:

On 8/27/2018 at 2:10 PM, owl said:

I don't think I am a relationship person, more of a natural born lone wolf. It has advantages and disadvantages.

Having said that, I will now probably fall for some eccentric naturalist I meet in a reed bed. Those are the only people I do socialise with, most of the time! Not complaining as they can be very interesting.

I am cautious about posting good news as I appreciate that other Fugees are having a very difficult time at present and I don't want to appear tactless. I will just say that this post from 2 years ago was oddly prophetic. Social distancing applies, but it is nice to have someone to spend time with who shares my interests and general outlook.  Wispa is the most devoted companion I could ask for but she is a bit limited at conversation.

Aw, that is nice, Owl. It is good to have someone to share an interest with. Especially at the moment when things are so limited.

Cloudy here but dry. Forecast was sunshine so here's hoping.

I hope you have a more settled day today, Jazz.

Going to see how I am going to get all my stuff in a smaller car for going home.

Oh dear Jazz..hope the immodium works but doesn't give you the opposite problem.

Owl, that is unexpected news, but long may you enjoy your new connection!

That's the trouble with changing from a big car to a smaller one, blackmagic.  You'll have to really be ruthless about anything you don't 100% need.

Philip had a bad start to his working morning, his web book wouldn't boot and an hour and a half of phone calls to second line techies later it still is refusing to play nice so he's had to go to the office so they can hopefully sort it out.  It may take up to six hours apparently...I told him in that case don't just sit there come back home and go back for it.
