Jazz, I have just had a phone chat with my sister who lives in your area. One of her in-laws is just recovering from Covid and doctor advised her to sleep on front as better for lung function.

There are also some breathing exercises recommended by consultant at Romford hospital. Will try to find the link otherwise will ask sister. If you google breathing exercise for covid I think there are various kinds.

they told me to sleep sitting up. tried that but slide down and cough, so best on my side. cough has come back daytime so that and toothache effecting my jaw, im not a happy girl

doctor rung, need to see the specialist and see what he says. thought I had, he said they are there but tiny. I was daft enough  2 days ago to say anything else! so ive had something each day.

The videos shown of people bing treated in Italy showed them lying on their front and it said it was because it made breathing easier

good news on the car, owl.  The skill of diagnosing and repairing cars is going as modern cars rely on a computer to diagnose a fault.  My local garage are also very good at sourcing solutions.

It is a miserable wet night here for a change and due to be -1 tonight.

morning

that's a bugger it coming back, but easily fixed for your mechanic when you get the part x

bertie the foster, who normally sleeps all night, has been getting me up every hour for the garden, for 3 nights. He needs to go, no bad stomach, nothing, so don't know why. so we are all tired.

shopping is coming this morning. good lewis is shopping on Friday, he can get whats missing

be safe xx

We have been lucky with our online shopping, first one was a bit of a problem but after that it's been o.k. Mum was offered the government parcel but she said she could do online, and my dad could go and get stuff if needed but on the whole it's not been too bad for us

We had a call last week from the carers place, it was really good as they are here to help with everything.... including my problems with next door! They also sent a pack through and I was able to print out cards so that my dad can go to the priority shopping slots...and Steve too and go and get stuff for me, it's taken me a long time to admit that I need a carer...I now have 3 lol

Owl... hope you can get a replacement part for the car

Suzeanna, hope you feel o.k today and not too tired xx

That sounds good about the carers, griff.

Drove to garage, indicator at first ok, then not, then started again. Signalled left whenever we went over a bump in the road! Mechanic thought it just needed a bit more cleaning, so sprayed some more extra special cleaner/lube for electrics and left to soak in for half an hour. Seems ok now, but won't be going any further than reserve anyway for time being.

Well that's good news Griff. I was worried about you going out. You are far too independent for your own good!

We've had a lovely paddock session with Henry and May.  Some very good friends of ours bought us 3 sessions there. How kind was that 👍

She did a pee yesterday as soon as she was off-lead and came to a stop at the other side of the paddock.

Today she excelled herself by doing wees and a poop 👍👍

It's my neighbours birthday today. First visitor was her oldest daughter who came up the path, didn't go in but stood just outside the front door to talk to her mum who was on the threshold with only about 3ft between them 🙄

Now her youngest daughter is here with at least one of her own kids and they are all sitting in the garden round a table with far from the recommended social distance between them.

I don't know if they are unaware of the recommendations and rules, or they're too thick to follow them or they just don't care.

It doesn't bode well for our 16 wk period of isolation. Our front doors are next to each other with only about 18 inches separating them ☚

Oh god Marion, it's not great about your neighbour...how approachable is she? Could you explain and ask that she request her visitors use the back door due to ruby being on chemo and how close the front doors are

Oooooooo well done may!!!! That's brilliant, I guess it's the dogs that are the issue then??
