I can't follow the board on my phone as I can't see it well enough & just get frustrated. I got a call back to see my doctor after a repeat blood test so I'm seeing her a week on Thursday. On Saturday I encountered 4 of the illegal quad bikers who have been zooming round the reserve and trashing the adjacent footpaths, and was able to direct police in the right direction. I have just heard the outcome. Police couldn't catch them offroad but nabbed them as soon as they hit the highway. Arrested for riding on road with no insurance, quads confiscated, more charges to follow. They had a good laugh when they drove past me and covered my car with mud. You definitely deserve a snigger or three Owl, hope the rest of the gang keep away now but I doubt it somehow. Griff, I've been reading that people are suffering this bug for five weeks or more, hope yours doesn't go on so long. We got one of those Adaptil plug ins for when Candy has to be left..and to my surprise it seems to work! We both went to the shops last Saturday and left her for about an hour and a half, when we got back no scrabbling damage, and she'd obviously been asleep on the back of the settee by the window, as it was nice and warm. It'll be a bigger test tomorrow, I have my pre op assessment at the hospital and they say prepare to be there for two hours, then it's two buses back home, so I'll probably be out for around 4 hours in total. Assessment should be interesting..due to my sciatica/lumbago/whatever the heck it is I can't sit on hard chairs, and my blood pressure is going to be through the roof because I'm in pain.
