Seems we are back to the better weather today. The skies are blue and there is a nice breeze blowing unlike yesterday's greyness and humidity.

Had an unfortunate exchange with the nasty neighbour last night! It's a very long story which I won't go into as I've bored you all quite enough with all the crap over the garden. I will just say that she was out on the street screeching like a fishwife and the language was choice. She really showed her true colours to everyone. I ended up just laughing at her and then grinning inanely at her whilst she was ranting before I delivered some home truths. I am pretty sure she has some mental health problems. I had a great aunt who had psychotic dementia and she would get the same wild look about her that the neighbour had last night. She actually put the wind up the neighbour at the other side of us as it was her the nasty neighbour started on. The nice neighbour commented later about how she looked and sounded and refused to listen to reason. Anyway I was (eventually!) able to diffuse the situation and we ended up having a reasonably civil conversation about what has gone on. Until the next time.

I had to go to the chemist to pick up a scrip earlier, so I asked for Canesten (thanks Alex, no yoghurt in the fridge) and she went off to confer with the pharmacist, came back and said yes you can have it but if it doesn't clear up you must go straight to the doctor. Easier said than done, they're always booked solid for weeks unless you're an emergency. Hopefully it'll work.

Wish it was nicer weather here, it's still blowing a gale, cloudy and cold. I think I'm going to regret not going to Greece this year!

Your neighbour needs help by the sound of her Yantan, very odd.

Fingers crossed it works Suzeanna :flowers:

Your neighbour does sound like a nutter - I'm really lucky with my neighbours at the moment. We take parcels in for each other and nobody bothers anyone else. My next door neighbour is selling her house, am dreading anyone horrid moving in

Hope you are feeling ok Griff :GroupHug:

I'm feeling better today - managed to survive an hour with my PT this morning, only felt sick once. So that's an improvement. My headache has gone and I'm not feeling dizzy any more :)

I hope you get better weather soon Suzeanna. Tis a glorious day here - not trying to rub it on or anything!

Good to hear you are feeling more like Jayne.

My other neighbours, the permanent residents that is as a there are fair few holiday homes on the street, are all great. We all take parcels in for each other and generally look out for one another. It's just unfortunate that we are the ones living next door to Mrs Nutty and that she's here on the street. She will be here until she pops her clogs as her foster mother bought the house for her but in some form of trust - that's where the religious group comes in - they are the official owners but they cannot remove this woman until she either chooses to give the house up or dies. The foster mother did this for 3 or 4 of her foster children knowing they were all feckless and would have just sold the houses if she left them to them direct. By all accounts she was a really lovely caring lady.

Aw sorry you were messed about Alicia :flowers:

Suzeanna I hope you are having better weather today. I won't tell you how gorgeous it is here

Archie was a bit grumbly and snappy with the other dogs on his walk yesterday which is so not like him. So I was a bit worried about him going off with the DW today because she, very understandably, has a policy of non-aggressive dogs only. She was happy to take him this morning and said "all my dogs are allowed an off day especially when they are normally no bother." So when she brought him back it was to tell me he'd been his usual brilliant little self but had had done... Wait for it....

EIGHT POO'S!!!

I think that might have been the cause of his snappishness yesterday
