Karen
Isn't it a good job that people do volunteer? Not all countries have the equivalent of a well organised NHS and they need every bit of help going to try and stop the spread of Ebola right round the world. It's not infectious until someone has symptoms and it might take 3 weeks for the symptoms to appear. Happy New Year everyone.

Happylittlegreensquirrel
I agree Karen its a bloody good job health care professionals are volunteering. Doctors without Borders are an amazing org and health care in developing countries is pretty grim. A number of people said I was selfish when I first volunteered overseas because Aisling was 12 , I think they were jealous because I had the balls to get up and do something a bit different instead of wallowing after I was made redundant. Those people are no longer in my life and Aisling remains my number one supporter
