Happylittlegreensquirrel
Yesterday morning at 09.50 Sri Lanka Standard Time a Temple cat called Kitty became the 4000th animal that Dogstar Foundation has sterilised in Sri Lanka and the 1200th this year Overpopulation here is not just about excess dogs and cats , its about the sheer misery of a life half lived , a life full of hunger and neglect , a life of disease and injury , its about pain and suffering for animals and people Our sterilisation programs tackle these issues at the root cause and we also education children ,adults and those in authority regards animal welfare and humane practices We are a relatively unknown small charity with no dedicated fundraising or PR/Media teams, but we have a HUGE impact on animal health and welfare here and I could not be prouder of my small but dedicated team for what we have achieved. If you have supported us to date then thank you , this is as much your work as ours Sam
