Back home at last had to stay a little longer this time as mum asked me to and said she knew she was being selfish but she was feeling lonely so of course I stayed. Came back with 4 boxes of Fox's mini rings yummmy they wont even last the weekend they are just so moreish and as they are weeny ones then it wont be as bad as eating full sized packets will it? I've blinking well earned them.

My coping skills are being tested to the max at the moment, Nick is now the latest one to have a bit of a health scare  hopefully nothing serious but it'll be a couple of weeks before we know anything.

Ferro seems Ok apparently shes been very quiet while I was away but she is still eating, and shes always been the quiet one anyway, since I sat down and logged on shes come out of her chube and is watching me and chattering her teeth at me so I'm sure shes going to cope fine as an "only" so long as she has my company.

I don't know what to say about that, Alex, and I am thankfully not a parent had best not say much  but I'm concerned about the frivolous use of a handgun to solve family disputes. It's a slippery slope.

Hope all is well with Nick, snow.

I'm in full sulk mode since the start of the year I've had a bruised rib, then I got an awful cold/ flu and now I have a bad back which has reduced me to a pitiful heap. I'm never ill or injured and now I can't escape it :( I have dogs to walk, a house to clean as guests are imminent, a back log of artwork to complete and all I can do is lie on back with my knees up as that seems to be the only position that doesn't hurt. It's very difficult to be productive (or see the tv) when lay like that!

In other news my niece is on her way  I've not seen her in three years and she is bringing my Great Niece with her  (I'm not even 30 yet and already a Great Aunt )

My sis has a small graze on her knee which has got infected, she waited 2 hrs at the walk-in surgery and became poorly, so am asking for a few thoughts for her. She has been known to get celullitis from leg injuries. Last time it happened she was in hospital for weeks.

Also we at Doglost have got everything crossed for terrier Izzy, who has been located down a collapsed underground hole. Fire brigade are currently trying to get her out:

And another ickle terrier Polly, who went awol somewhere around Sunningdale golf course, may have got herself shut in somewhere, we don't know. That area was the coldest place in England last night.

Congratulations to the new parents :flowers:

Hope Nick is ok Snow, and you don't have stomach ache from eating all those treats!

Glad your sister is back home Owl, and hope all the lost dogs can soon be found.

I'm baffled....I got a letter earlier from my doctor's surgery, asking would I please make an appt with Dr. Wayman regarding my recent admission to Chesterfield Royal, and please could I give them an up to date phone number as they tried to phone me and found mine is no longer in use. Just two things to note...firstly, I haven't been admitted to hospital recently, the Royal or anywhere else, and secondly, my phone number is the same as it's been for the past nearly 8 years!

Did anyone see the article in the paper about the huge static caravan that the police escorted to an ILLEGAL travellers site in West Sussex? The local villagers found notices around the village, all nicely officially printed by the Police, stating that an "abnormal load would be traveling through the village, and anyone not moving there car would have it towed away." This is the exact spelling of the printed notice. You'd think the ruddy Police service would have one person who could spell!!

Goodness, just read about little Izzy, she was only a couple of miles down the road from us. It was -10C here last night so no wonder she is cold. Really glad that she has been found and rescued safely.

Sunningdale isn't a huge distance away either but looking at the map the golf course area is huge and right next to Chobham Common too which is also vast.

Pleased little Izzy has been found. Hope she's ok.

Suzeanna that is strange but does sound like they've sent a letter to you by mistake instead of the person they should have done.

Kittycat hope you're feeling tons better soon :GroupHug:

Glad your sis is home and hope the ab's help her quickly Owl :GroupHug:

Snow hope Nick is ok :GroupHug:

Have been to the hospital. Dad is improving a bit each week. He's now been told he's staying where he is for the next 3 months as the other hospital with the all singing and dancing physio dept won't accept him there after all. Matron is fuming about it because she think's it's cos of his age. It has given him an oomph though to work harder with the physio and he's doing lots of exercises when back to his bed.

Scoobs is having a belter of a day. He was really struggling yesterday but is managing to move around a lot better today and actually has walked without having to be carried and gone further than he has in weeks. I'm convinced some of it is down to his confidence.
