Cheryl, could you pop a bucket in the loft, propped at the open end on a couple of books or similar, with some yummy food - in theory, any small furry would climb the books and slide down, eat yummy food and not be able to climb back out again (Grandmother, here's your egg to suck!)

I think I have found a suitable evening art class. I will give the school a call tomorrow as I have a day off. I'm looking forward to a bit of a lie in, as I have been out early every morning this week.

I decorated a colleagues desk today, with a banner and balloons for her 30th birthday. Then she called in sick, so it sort of just sat there looking silly. We were all going out to lunch with her, so no one had any food with them. we cancelled her pub meal and then had a little jolly to another one. My boss brought his 17month old daughter too (he had today off). She is half chinese and very pretty.

Ding Dong!

Evening chaps.

Could well be rats Cheryl. I thought we had squirrels in the loft a few years ago and it turned out to be them.

Really wish your bosses would have a word with themselves Alex :GroupHug: and glad the dogs didn't present you with anything today. Are you going out on Saturday?

Lovely pics Marge  Sorry the birthday girl was missing.

Griff get ye to the docs :GroupHug:

We're having our Xmas works dinner on 16th December starting in the afternoon so I'll be able to leave gracefully early on. Going to a restaurant in town I've never heard of.

Oldies Club appear to have lost our lovely accountant who signs off our accounts every year. If anyone knows of a qualified one within 2 hours of Warrington I would love to hear as they're due in by end of February so I'm starting to panic ever so slightly.

Hopefully I'm panicing over nothing and she'll be back in touch with me soon. She's always busy. Pleased she's ok anyway. Have lots of personal stuff on the go and need to get it out of the way because I could have to disappear at any time. There is only me who can do the hand over unfortunately.

Have just ordered my exam. It tickles me that the manual based exams are received by computer and done online and at the end I get the result immediately. The computerised based ones are ordered online but sent as paper versions in the post. I then complete on the paperwork received and post it back to them. I then can wait for my result for up to a month. The 2 exams for the final level are exactly the same. Is it me?

No, not going on Saturday, cos I know it will get to then and I'll want to stay at home cosied up rather than go out flowers.gif

OMG I'm soooo sorry, I completely forgot to get back to you! The only qualified accountants I know well enough to ask are based in Portsmouth, so probably not much use to you. I hope you get it sorted asap flowers.gif

RMF : It's getting colder, so today I will be getting some Calor gas so me and the furries can have the fire on. They'll all be vying for the best position wub.gif

Alex I don't blame you not going to the works "do". I'd rather stop at home all cosied up too than go to things like that. As I used to say to my work colleagues "I work with you twats all week what in hell makes you think I then want to spend my own time socialising with you all?" They used to laugh and think I was joking to be funny - but I wasn't! (Not that I am suggesting that you think your colleagues are a load of twats of course! Is this how you spell colleagues?)

I officially turned the dog/cat watching in S.A down yesterday but I was told there will be other opportunities biggrin.gif

It's not that I don't like my colleagues - I know I'll have a laugh with the girls if I go, but for some reason I don't like the whole getting ready and actually going out and having to get taxis at all hours, so I'd probably drive and then end up sober while everyone is pizzed.

I also don't like the feeling carpness the next day.
