I was looking round rescues and sites generally for a new foster dog when Henry moved on and saw her picture. I thought she looked like a lurcher and about our Sally's size. Her owners are moving to Spain next week and were trying to rehome her as they thought the heat would be too much for her. She had a lovely write-up and sounded like a perfect little girl so I got in touch. They brought her over on Sunday to see how we all got on and she was just fine and got on well with Sally. You couldn't help but love her straight away so she has stayed as a long term foster with rescue backing but we will probably adopt her eventually. We have never had a dog this small though, definitely not a lurcher and only 17" to the shoulder, probably terrierXlab. I am hoping, as they seem to have settled well together, that I will be able to foster another (probably a male dog) in a little while if the OC has something suitable for us.
