John was very active in the dog rescue world, he was heavily involved in the CFIDOS campaign, the puppy love campaign and the fight against the DDA. He and his wife Dee were also very involved in the running of Rescue Remedies Dog Rescue and had fostered many dogs. Anyone who had the fortune to meet John would know that he was truely a great man. He even spoke at a council meeting regarding Puppy farm dogs recently, despite his failing health and gave his life to the plight of our nation's dogs. It is a very sad day for the rescue world."
